CHARITY BENEFIT EVENT

At the 2021 Gay Softball World Series, we are partnering with the Trevor Project to raise funds for suicide prevention and mental health. LGBTQIA+ adults and youth experience higher rates of depression, anxiety, and suicide than our non-LGBTQIA+ friends and family.

42% OF LGBTQ YOUTH

seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year, including more than half of transgender and nonbinary youth.

48% OF LGBTQ YOUTH

reported they wanted counseling from a mental health professional but were unable to receive it in the past year. *

The Kaleidoscope Youth Center has been around since 1994 and is still one of the largest and longest-standing organization in Ohio solely dedicated to serving and supporting queer youth.

As part of our fundraising efforts, we are challenging every NAGAAA member league to raise $1,000 (or more!) prior to the Charity Event on Wednesday, September 1st. Fundraising pages allow leagues to post on social media and encourage people to donate to their league's total.

CHARITY BENEFIT EVENT September 1 7:00 – 11:00pm

Individual and Team winners will be announced at the Charity Event, Wednesday, September 1st, hosted by Miss Congeniality of RuPaul’s Drag Race – Season 11, Nina West. We look forward to all of you joining us in Columbus for the event!
