On behalf of Visit St. Pete/Clearwater I would like to welcome runners and walkers with the 2022 Pride Run St. Pete to our wonderful community. While here I hope you discover why over 14 million visitors choose us as their destination for creating memories. Some of these reasons include:
§ 35 miles of white sand beaches that consistently rank as tops in the United States by Trip Advisor. This year we have four beaches in the Top 25, including Madeira Beach, which was #9 in the US.
§ Readers of Conde Nast Travelers magazine listed St. Pete as a top 10 big city to visit and the St. Petersburg Pier was voted the 2nd best new attraction in the United States by the readers of USA Today.
§ St. Petersburg continues to grow as a cultural scene as we are home to world known museums like The Dali, Chihuly Collection, The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art and the recently opened Museum of the American Arts & Crafts Movement.
Visit our website at www.VisitStPeteClearwater.com to discover our communities.
Best of luck to all the participants and enjoy your time with us!
Sunny Regards,

It is a time for celebration in the welcoming city of St. Pete and we are looking forward to seeing you at the second annual Pride Run St. Pete 5K.
I am Dan Shabra, the Race Director for Pride Run St. Pete. Thank you for participating in this year’s event, a part of RaceLookup’s Pride Run Series.
This series promotes a fun, inclusive atmosphere where people can come together in an environment that recognizes and supports #IDEA; inclusion, diversity, equality/equity, and acceptance, where everyone’s welcome. And this year, we are proud to partner with Come Out St. Pete as our designated charity.
Make sure to stick around after your run or walk for the Pride Run St. Pete Celebration Party and Health & Wellness expo. We have an incredible lineup, including presentations from the Royal Court and the former trans/drag queen hosting the Pride Run St. Pete drag shows. While enjoying the festivities, race participants 21 years of age and older also can treat themselves to a complimentary beer provided by Flying Embers.
Please take a moment to read through the details contained within this Pride Run Guide. It is full of information about Pride Run St. Pete. It includes information on many of our business supporters, sponsors, partners, and exhibitors you’ll want to know and patronize. You’ll even find special offers.
We could not execute on race day without the help of our race crew volunteers, so please help us thank them. We also want to thank the City of St. Petersburg for recognizing the importance of Pride Run St. Pete to its community and supporting IDEA for all individuals. We appreciate all that the city has done to help make this a fun and safe event for everyone to enjoy.
It enriches us being here celebrating with you and we wish you a fantastic day out at Pride Run St. Pete.
We will see you at the finish line with your finisher medal in hand, ready to congratulate you on your accomplishment!

Experience the new $92 million St. Pete Pier District on the city’s beautiful bayfront and you’ll find a green space unlike any other, including several waterfront restaurants (with plenty of outdoor dining), interactive areas for families, a nature center (Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center), a bayfront beach, a marketplace with local artisans, amazing public art and more. Even better – much of it is free. Bring the family, plan a date night or enjoy a sunset cocktail at Pier Teaki overlooking downtown.
Not only does St. Pete have award winning beaches, there are also world-famous museums to discover on those days you’re looking for a dose of art and culture. One “can’t-miss” stop is the brand-new Museum of the American Arts & Crafts Movement. The Dali Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of Salvador Dali’s work outside of Spain; the Chihuly Collection at the Morean Arts Center, features unique sculptures by legendary glass artist Dale Chihuly; and the James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art, will transport you through the rich and diverse heritage of the American West. With dozens of museums and art galleries from which to choose, you’ll never run short of inspiration in St. Pete!
Get a taste of St. Pete’s eclectic local culture and experience Central Avenue. Shop funky and unique finds at local boutiques and galleries, pause for a craft brew or cocktail at one of the many restaurants and bars, and stop for a photo op in front of some of the hundreds of murals that paint St. Pete vibrant! There’s so much to discover on Central Avenue., you really have to stroll it to believe it.
