MILESTONE Booking Lucia Chapter

Hi future Milestoners!

This guide explains you step by step how you can book your apartment at MILESTONE Chapter Lucia.

We’re already looking forward to welcome you in your new home away from home!

Let’s start!

Make a Request - please finish this step within 5 days Please go to our website www.milestone.net and click “BOOK NOW” in the top right corner.

Please then choose the city “Rotterdam”

You will then see the following screen with the results for MILESTONE Chapter Lucia. It should automatically be chosen in the search function. If not, please select the property in the AREA field and your desired room category (unit type).

After filling in the desired building you can see the available room categories.

Please note, that there will only be one length of stay for every room category shown.

Please click “request booking” at the room category of your desire.

You will then see the mask below, where we ask you for your data.

Please fill in your personal details and duration (only one option possible) and use the booking code EUCxMILESTONELUCIA2022, so that we can see that you got accepted at EUC and you are eligible to book.

The comment section can be used to specify if you have any preferences about your apartment (location). You also can add this next to your booking code (please see example below) Please note: We will take your wishes into consideration, but please be aware that we might not be able to fulfil them.

After submitting the request, you will see the following screen, which confirms your inquiry. You also will receive an email with a summary of your request.

Securing your apartment - please finish this step within 14 days After you have sent us your request, MILESTONE will create a booking offer and send this offer to you per e-mail. You will receive an e-mail with a booking link. With this link you can review your offer and confirm it.

In the e-mail is also stated when your booking link expires.

Please note: If you do not confirm your booking before the expiration date, your room reservation will be lost, and the apartment will be offered again. You will then be placed on a waiting list.

After clicking the link, you might receive the following message. (Please note, that this is an intermediate step, which might happen automatically, due to the setting of the booking system)

If you should receive this mail, please cklick on the second option to get a new link. We call this a “Magic Link”. You will then receive a second e-mail with a new link.

After that we ask you to log in (an account has been created with your first request) Username: the e-mail address you made the request with Password: Please choose a password of your choice. (the password requires at least one capital letter, one number and one special character like !,?)

You can now continue with your booking and create the contract and make the advance payments.

If you log out or close the window midway, you do not have to start all over again!

Once you log in again you will be at the same step you left the journey.

It’s getting serious!

Step 1: Your Details Please fill in your personal data (again), fill in all required fields and agree to the MILESTONE privacy policy by checking the box at the end.

Step 2: Sign your Agreement You will be led to Step 2 of your booking, which is signing your tenancy agreement.

Please click “Alle aktivieren” (which means activate all) in order to download and sign the contract.

You will then have to click “continue” and accept our Terms of Use and to sign the contract digitally.

You now can click “start” for signing and also download the contract with clicking the download button

We ask you to please read the contract, double check your personal data, before you sign.

With clicking Start you will be led directly to the field for your signature.

Please click in the field “click here to sign”

You then can sign the contract, with typing in your name, draw and sign with a pen or with a mobile signature.

To confirm your signature, please click “APPLY” To finish off Step 2 and to sign the contract, please then click “CLICK TO SIGN”

Step 3 – Select Payment Options In this step you can see the total amount payable upfront to confirm your contract (deposit + transaction costs + 1st month rent). Here you will also see your monthly rental fee for the remaining duration. Prices are including 21% tax.

Please note: The shown fees on this screenshot are not valid for Chapter Lucia. Those are just an example.

Since you already gave us your booking code in a previous step, this field does not need to be filled out here. Please click next step for your payment via credit card (only credit card possible) and to finish off the booking.

Step 4 – Make a payment HURRAY - this is the last step of your booking! You will see your advances, deposit, and monthly fee.

Please click “MAKE PAYMENT” to put in your credit card information.

After filling in your credit card information, please klick “Confirm” on the right bottom corner.

Once you finished off the booking, you will receive an immediate notification, that the payment was successful.

With clicking “NEXT STEP” you finish off the booking, and you now have access to your tenant portal where you can see the rental agreement, the invoice, and further information.

It’s done!

After finishing the booking, you will receive an e-mail with the payment confirmation and another email confirmation with the key facts of your apartment and the link to your tenant portal.

My Account In “My Account” you can see all your invoices, both paid and still outstanding.

The payment via credit card is possible in this tab, after the invoices are posted and shown.

Come Home As soon as everything is done and the check-in date is coming up, you will be contacted by the Resident Manager via e-mail with all the necessary information you need for your check-in.
