Then the last third or so of the episode is filled with Origami attempting to seduce Shido at the hospital, followed shortly by her that her parents died in a fire which she blames on Efreet, who Shido just learned is Kotori. Volume 4's cover depicts Kotori in her Spirit form; Volume 7 has Tohka in her Inverse Form; Volume 9 has Natsumi's ; Volume 10 has Origami in her newly-acquired Spirit form, and Volume 11 displays her Inverse Form. Shido Itsuka, a seemingly ordinary high schooler comes across a mysterious girl at the ground zero of a spatial quake and learns from his sister Kotori she is one of the "Spirits" who are the real cause of the spatial quakes that occur when they manifest themselves in the world. The comedy is pretty decent, but it sometimes feels very inappropriate and out-of-place when some half-assed drama gets thrown in the mix.
