The Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 2014 requires councils to set one or more improvement objectives annually. Our Performance Improvement Plan sets out a number of Improvement Objectives for the upcoming financial year. It explains what we hope to achieve, how we plan to do it and how our citizens will be better off as a result. The Performance Improvement Plan also includes statutory indicators as set out by the Department for Communities.
For 2022/23 Council is proposing six Improvement Objectives and we would like to hear your views on them.
The closing date for the consultation is Friday 24 May 2022.
At the end of the consultation period, we will review the proposed improvement objectives in light of your feedback.
