Elevating Perspectives: The design narrative of the Banglabandha International Landport unfolds as a harmonious blend of natural inspiration and architectural innovation. Drawing cues from the majestic Kanchenjunga hill, the passenger terminal emerges as a symbolic extension of the landscape. The origami roof, a homage to the region's rich cultural tapestry, not only shelters travelers but unfolds an experience that mirrors the nuanced folds of tradition, creating a seamless transition between the natural and the man-made.

“PERI-URBAN CONTINUUM”: HEALTHCARE AND WELLNESS CENTER

FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN

PROBLEM MAPPING

Term II Level IV | 2023

deeply into the architectural intricacies of addressing infrastructural inadequacies confronting healthcare facilities serving women and children within peri-urban contexts. Through meticulous surveying and focused group discussions, we discerned spatial patterns and identified key areas pivotal to the holistic well-being of these demographics. Our design ethos, underpinned by a commitment to sustainability, embraced innovative solutions such as rainwater harvesting to mitigate environmental impact. By amalgamating this eco-conscious approach with nuanced architectural interventions, we endeavored to craft a bespoke healthcare milieu that not only addresses immediate infrastructural deficits but also fosters a nurturing environment conducive to the flourishing of women and children in peri-urban locales.

FUTURE OF THE PAST

:Rethinking Mianzee Concern

Term I Level IV | 2022

became an important place for trade and commerce with goods and products came from Rupsha River. So this place started to play the role as a heart of the city. Mianzee Concern (Agrani Transport Agency) was built in late 19th century, was renovated in around 1925. The building was built in quasi-classical style or regional classicism. The classical components represent enormous aesthetic beauty as well as craftsmen ship through the detailing. Now, Dak Bangla more is one of the busiest area of the city, with high commercial value. Therefore, the objective of the project is to add another dimension to this busy area by highlighting this heritage’s quality of aesthetics as well as architectural style through engaging people as a breathing space, providing demanding services and increasing commercial value.
