Class Minimums And Maximums

All programs must meet a minimum number of participants to be held. If an event is full, be sure to sign up for the waiting list, new programs may be added to meet demand.

Waiver Required

All guests and participants must sign a waiver to participate in any Missouri City Parks & Recreation program. Waivers must be acknowledged during the registration process prior to participation.

Memberships

Membership requirements: Valid government issued photo ID for registration or first-day pass visit, proof of residency for resident rates, Veterans with ID receive 10% off any membership.

Membership benefits include:

• Access to the weight room, including cardio equipment, machine weights, and free weights

• Use of the basketball gym and batting cages

• Discounts on selected programs

• Free access to tennis courts (when available)

One-Day Pass

Non-members can purchase a $5 One-Day Pass. A One-Day Pass allows access to the gymnasium, weight room, batting cages, pickleball courts, tennis courts, and select programs.

Gymnasium

Open Gym hours are subject to change monthly. Ages 11-years and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.

Weight Room

Missouri City personal trainers are available; additional fees apply. In the weight room, youth ages 13-15 must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Youth ages 12-years and under are not permitted.

Batting Cages

Equipment provided, ages 15-years and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

Room Rentals

The Recreation & Tennis Center offers the rental of multi-purpose rooms for various events and meetings. Please note alcohol is not permitted in the multi-purpose rooms. A refundable $250 damage deposit is required in addition to the room rental fees. All fees are due at the time of reservation.

Auditorium Rentals

The Community Center Auditorium allows for a versatile setup for banquets, weddings, receptions, family reunions, birthday parties, or large business meetings. The auditorium is over 6,000 square feet with a max capacity of 300 guests. Rental fees include tables and chairs, kitchen usage, custodial services and a rental caretaker. Please note, patrons are responsible for the setup of their own events. All fees must be paid in full at time of reservation. Security requirements are determined by the size of the event and if alcohol will be served.

Plaza and Monarch room rentals can ONLY be rented as an add-on to a Community Center rental.

Court Reservations

Reservations can be made by calling (281) 403-8637 or in person at the Recreation & Tennis Center. Courts may not be reserved more than 7 days in advance. Members and non-members will be allowed no more than 2 courts per reservation per day. Teams and tournament coordinators desiring to reserve tennis courts must obtain a reservation permit from the Recreation Specialist over tennis.

Grab a partner and sign-up for our annual Shrimp Boil Tennis Festival. Each player will receive a complimentary shrimp lunch.

Tennis Doubles Toy Drive

Court Reservations

The Recreation & Tennis Center has three outdoor pickleball courts available for reservations. Courts are available in 90 minute blocks per reservation (renter must arrive no later than 15 minutes after reservations start time or they forfeit the use of the court(s).
