INSIDE: A 28-page feature packed with pictures from our local schools
As the school gates opened to welcome the eager footsteps of our region’s youngest learners, a sense of anticipation filled the air.
With oversized bags slung over their shoulders, brand new uniforms adorning their frames, and shiny shoes tapping against the pavement, these five and six-year-olds waved goodbye to their families, ready to embark on a journey of discovery into prep.
Months of preparation led up to this pivotal moment, all in anticipation of a seamless transition into their schooling years.
With schools abuzz with anticipation, The Riv team diligently curated it’s annual Prep feature, destined to become a cherished keepsake for parents, students
and loved ones alike.
Assigned to capture these precious moments, Riverine Herald photographer Aidan Briggs navigated the region’s schools, snapping group pictures of the newest Preps.
His efforts produced captivating images, each reflecting the smiles of children already immersed in their educational journey.
Within these pages lies a glimpse into this vibrant chapter of their young lives and we hope you enjoy them as much as we have bringing them to you.
To all the new Preps, The Riv extends its warmest wishes as you embark on this exciting formal education journey.
May 2024 be a year filled with discovery and growth for every one of you.
