Aggressive questioning tactics “that included outdated methods ... largely based on pseudoscience” were utilized by police while questioning Dahl, according to a press release from the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office. The police interview with Dahl led to her falsely confessing Davis committed the murder while she acted as a lookout. The case resulted in Dahl being placed on probation for three years while Davis
