Public Comment & Meeting Requirements: Per the CARES Act Public Law 116-136, HUD Secretary is authorized to grant specific waivers, and alternate requirements to permit flexibility and speed in program implementation. This allows the option of virtual meetings in lieu of in‐person public hearings, in order to comply with national and local social gathering requirements.

Public comment will be accepted from all interested parties including the City Council public hearing on April 20, 2021 and beyond, covering a 30-day public review period prior to when the One-Year Annual Action Plan is due to HUD.
