With their oversize floating design capable of dissipating heat while maintaining strong bite and stopping power, the 280mm floating discs are the size of choice by current AMA Supercross riders. Driven by their improved braking performance and feel over 260 and 270mm discs, the lightweight floating design is perfect for hard off-road and racing use.
The unique Flame design ensures an equal contact between brake and pad throughout the whole rotation, allowing heat to escape and the pads to do their job efficiently, while easily cleaning away dust and debris. The shape provides smooth and predictable braking action, allowing you to brake harder.
The floating design refers to the CNC machined aluminium carrier and stainless steel outer ring; this provides riders with the heavy duty compound they need in the rotor but a lightweight yet reliable connection to the wheel, delivering weight reductions over full steel discs.
