Perf and non-perf leather sports jacket
The latest evolution of the best-selling Dainese Racing jacket, the Racing 5 leather jacket has a regular and sporty fit made of fine 1.2 mm Tutu cowhide with Level AA certification. Available in perforated and non-perf, the perforated option includes strategically placed perforations, for maximum ventilation on the hottest days.
With a design focused on the ergonomics of riding positions, the Racing 5 has been designed with a Veloce Racing Neck collar to reduce pressure on the neck, pre-curved arms and integrates wide S1 bi-elastic fabric as well as adjustment systems on the hips to guarantee maximum comfort and mobility.
Boasting an EN 17092 class AA certification, the Racing 5 jacket features CE Level 2 composite protectors on the elbows and shoulders, as well as replaceable aluminum inserts on the shoulders ensuring a more natural sliding motion in the event of a fall. A pocket designed to accommodate type G back and chest protectors is included.
As a result of studies on correct fit, the jacket can be comfortably worn over the Dainese Smart Air airbag device without the need to purchase a larger size. The sleeves’ suitable fit prevents protectors from shifting to the wrong area during a fall, therefore always ensuring maximum protection for riders. In addition, the loops fastening the Smart Air to the jacket allow riders to put them on and take them off with a single movement, so that the airbag always maintains the correct position under the jacket.
An internal waterproof pocket allows riders to store their electronic devices in case of bad weather, and can be fastened to pants with an internal zipper.
