INTRODUCTION

The Battlecross E50 : Be a contender in any enduro competiton The Battlecross E50 is the outcome of years of off-road technology development. It is road homologated and can be used in all Enduro competitions. The Battlecross E50 is the tyre helping you overcome any obstacles and achieve the highest levels of performance on all types of terrain. It is incorporating Battlecross Motocross technology transferred and optimized for real enduro usage. The Castle block technology increases the edge effect of the block and ensures great traction capabilities from soft terrain to wet hard terrain. The newly designed sidewall has not only improved the absorbing characteristics of the tyre but also made the mounting of the tyre a lot easier. Don’t be afraid to change your tyres at the track ! The Battlecross E50 has shown improvements in all performance areas and on all types of surfaces vs. its predecessor.

Product concept To offer a complete lineup with a single compound choice while providing outstanding performance capable of winning any Enduro championship. Provide a tyre with a wide operating range, suitable for beginners as well as top level Enduro riders.

PATTERN DESIGN

Castle Block technology + Bunker • The castle block has a convex section in its block enhancing the edge effect. • The additional edge effect provides extra grip in both cornering (front) and traction (rear). • Offers flexible tyre response on changing surfaces as the contact pressure vs. conventional blocks is increased. • The bunker area is the small incision between the blocks. It produces a small amount of traction power when the tyre is fully buried in the surface.

PATTERN DESIGN

Front Edge component (Lateral) • The New pattern design and block positioning has increased dramatically the lateral edge component of the front blocks (+60%). • Decreasing slightly the lateral stiffness of the front blocks (block rigidity) in order to provide extra cornering feeling.

Rear Edge component (Longitudinal) • The New pattern design and block positioning has increased dramatically the longitudinal edge component of the rear blocks (+120%).

Rear blocks deformation under traction forces

• Increasing slightly the stiffness of the rear blocks (block rigidity) in order to transmit more traction force to the surface.
