“There is an application process,” Greco says. “The individual will need to complete the application and then be called in for an interview. The process is not via application, but face-to-face … it also gives the Project SEARCH site an opportunity to showcase what some of the activities might be in an internship, and to see what their skill level is.” If someone is accepted into Project SEARCH, they are required to ensure they’re eligible to receive vocational rehabilitation services and long-term funding from their area agency.
