The Derryfield School is an independent, coeducational day school for academically motivated students in grades 6-12 with a population of 390. Middle School, grades 6-8 Imagine a middle school where it’s cool to be smart, where students navigate the complexity of adolescence in a supportive environment, mentored by teachers who are passionate about their subjects. Imagine a middle school curriculum that includes Geometry, CSI Forensics, Justice and Civics, courses dedicated to character development, and critical learning skills and habits. Upper School, grades 9-12 A typical Derryfield graduate has trekked in Nepal, designed high-level research projects in AT Biology, performed on stage, presented STEM projects to local entrepreneurs, been a part of a winning athletic team, and worked with ELL students in Manchester public schools. One-hundred percent of Derryfield graduates matriculate at 4-year colleges and receive an average of $45,000 per year in college merit, and the Derryfield network offers students a lifelong web of talented alumni and parents who offer job shadows and career connections. All students now benefit from a new 42,000 s.f. Athletic & Wellness Center and a Science & Innovation Center.
