Naremburn residents have seen a huge surge in the value in their property over the past 12 months. The area was listed as one of the fastest selling suburbs by realestate.com.au and the good news doesn’t stop there. New price records are being set each year and our team was again responsible for achieving a new suburb record, selling 5 McBurney Street for $2,999,000 – clearly $3 million sales are around the corner. We negotiated 38 of the suburb’s total 58 sales. Hopefully our total commitment to Naremburn is clear when you consider that the next most active agency sold just four. Demand has never been higher evidenced by 37 of these 38 properties selling prior to or on auction day – an auction clearance rate of 97%. On average my properties sold in just 14 days which is well under half the average selling period in the suburb. Along the way there have been some memorable milestones. I was honoured to be chosen as the REINSW Sales Agent of the Year at the 2014 annual award ceremony in October last year. Being named the number one sales agent in the entire state of NSW is a tribute to the hard work my team puts in on behalf of our clients. The award caps off a very successful year as I also took out the Agent of the Year title for McGrath Estate Agents nationally. I’m constantly asked why we keep our business so focused on Naremburn but I strongly believe these sales results reflect how 100% local commitment makes such a difference to our vendors. Naremburn house prices have delivered property investors a solid capital gain of 16.3% for the last financial year. Prices should continue to grow steadily for the next 12 months. We expect prices to stabilise and supply to increase across Sydney however it will have little impact on such a tightly held area such as Naremburn.
