ast and bronzed with blue-open skies, the east coast of Australia provides families with activity-packed experiences, especially during the school holidays. The east coast is huge, and to put it in numbers, it would take approximately 50 hours of non-stop driving to cruise along the coast between Cairns and Melbourne. The expanse of a diverse coastline such as this is scattered with tropical reefs, surf beaches, national parks and rainforests that will not fail to impress. Though the distance between cities may be great; travelling around Queensland can be amusing. The oodles of adventures, both indoors and outdoors include (but are not limited to) beaches, zoos, theme parks and adventures on the Great Barrier Reef that can begin in Cairns or

Port Douglas. Most resorts around Queensland are tailored towards families, with structured activities and guided tours, pools, waterslides and a variety of kids’ food options. At the Great Barrier Reef, snorkelling and scuba diving through the abstract hyper-coloured world underwater is a sensational escapade; yielding opportunities for teenagers to get a quick selfie with turtles. On the other hand, a soothing sail in a glass-bottom boat is an extremely effective way for little ones to see into the resplendent sea. Brisbane, considered one of the most kid-friendly cities in Australia, encompasses activities that preoccupy little ones. The Koala Sanctuary presents children a chance to cuddle one of the inmates, playgrounds around the city and patrolled beaches with shallow water makes it safe for small swimmers, and if it is too humid for the park or playgrounds, the Queensland Museum, Queensland Art Gallery, and the Gallery of Modern Art have dedicated kids’ activity rooms, interactive experiences and programs to keep them entertained. With its harbour, the city of Sydney is transformed from being a sprawling concrete jungle to an endless photogenic waterway circulating the city life.
