How to Create a Family Camp Profile in CampInTouch The Camper Application in CampInTouch is designed with youth campers in mind. Each camper is associated with a Primary Childhood Household and is presumed to have a School Grade and a School. While the system can accommodate additional households and alternative schools for youth, it does not have a straightforward way to enroll adults interested in attending Family Camp.

To address this, Camp Echo has come up with a solution to make the system suitable for Family Camp. We have created a generic youth camper profile named “FamilyCamp” that will be used to register your group.

Follow the instructions below to create your own FamilyCamp profile.

Step 1: Log In to CampInTouch Returning Users

If you have an account in CampInTouch, log in, select Additional Camper, and go to the Create a New Youth Camper for instructions on how to add your FamilyCamp Camper.

If you do not have an account in CampInTouch, click this link to create your account as the Family Camp parent/guardian.

Then, follow these simple steps to set up your account: 1. Enter your first and last name along with your email address. In the Relationship field, choose "I am a legal guardian."

2. Click Continue.

3. Set a password and continue to the next screen.

Step 2: Create a new Youth Camper Profile Next, you will create a new youth camper profile using the generic FamilyCamp template. Keep in mind that you are creating an individual camper profile that we will use to register your entire family.

CampInTouch requires some information intended for a youth camper that doesn’t really make sense when applied to an adult or a group of people.

Please fill in all required fields throughout the process, even though some of the details may not be applicable to a group.

Please complete the required fields as outlined below, using the numbered graphic on the next page for assistance. The most important fields for Camp Echo Family Camp are First Name, Last Name, and Grade.

Season will default to the upcoming season.

Tell us how you heard about camp.

If someone referred you, we’d love to know who!

Please enter FamilyCamp for your camper’s First Name.

For Last Name, enter the name by which you’d like us to refer to your family.

6.

We know that families aren’t binary, but the system requires you to choose a gender.

7.

The system also requires a birth date. Is there a special date in your family’s history?

Select the 12th grade.

9.

Enter anything for School.

10. Select any T-Shirt size. Campers receive t-shirts during youth camp sessions. Family Campers can purchase tees in the Trading Post.

Once you have filled out the fields, check the box to accept the Terms and Conditions and click Begin Application.

Step 3: Complete the Camper Application.

The next pages will ask you to: 1. Select a pricing option, sessions, and cabin size 2. Tell us about your household: address(es), phone number(s), emergency contacts 3. Optionally donate to camp 4. Optionally add a family photo 5. Tell us more about your family and when you’d like to come to camp.

You’ll rank your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd preferences for Family Camp sessions and type of cabin.

6. Request staff discounts or fee assistance 7. Provide billing and payment information 8. Review Terms and Conditions, digitally sign, and submit the completed application.
