Let’s Talk About “-isms”: Power Structures and Magazines and Journals, Holly Burdorff Room 307 Byline counts by organizations such as VIDA: Women in Literary Arts and The Op-Ed project reveal glaring gender disparities in periodicals across the US; other counts have revealed gaps in the representation of people of color, as well. We’ll discuss related issues and tools, all with the goal of helping us to become more thorough and accurate editors and writers.
