Beaufort Shrimp Festival 4 & 5 October Thousands flock to the Beaufort Shrimp Festival to celebrate local shrimp and the local shrimping industry. There will be live concerts and entertainment, craft vendors, a 5K race, local restaurants competing for shrimp recipe bragging rights and more. Admission is free! Historic Bluffton Arts & Seafood Festival 13 - 20 October The ninth annual Historic Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival will be held in the historic district of Bluffton, well known for its art community and natural river beauty. The festival is a week-long event offering a variety of activities including a children’s fishing tournament, paddle races, 10K and 5K and a boat parade! The highlight of the festival is the Streetfest which includes a fine art show featuring over 100 artists from 10 different states displaying and selling their art, food and great music and entertainment on 19 and 20 October.
