Kid & Family Events
Happy New Year and bring on 2023!! I hope that you and your family had a wonderful holiday season. We really enjoyed spending some great events together and seeing you all at Santa Brunch or the Polar Express. But the fun doesn't stop there! Let's kick off this new year making some more memories together! Join us for our Comedy Night on the 21st, or our Disney Family Brunch. Of course we have our wonderful Father/Daughter Dance coming up in February or our themed kid night outs! We have an array of events lined up for all ages!
Ready to burn off some of those holiday calories? Come relax and unwind with Heather or Greg in one of our many yoga classes! Don't forget to try a Total Body or Mobility class with David. If one on one is more your style, ask David, or Heather about their personal training packages! We are here to get you back on track and ready for the summer season, which will be here before you know it! NEW YEAR, NEW ME KIDS DAY OUT
Have another day off, come join the fun as we jump right into the New Year!! This is a day where we will build and design our own New Year's resolutions. We will participate in new and exciting games such as sports, crafts and activities! The only catch is that you can't complain - come in with a new and open mind for 2023! Please RSVP by Wednesday, December 28th.
BLOOD DRIVE
When: Saturday, January 14th I 10:00am-3:00pm Location: Sports Club We are looking forward to bringing back the Blood Connection to the Sports Club for a day long blood drive. Our goal is to get 18 units which is approximately 23 appointments. Keep your eye out in the weekly happenings for the link that will take you directly to the page to sign up. We will also have flyers around the club and sports club where you will be able to scan the barcode. Thank you in advance for helping save lives!
FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS KIDS DAY OUT
As we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we will not only learn about his biography but many other inspirational men and women who followed their dreams and stood up for their rights. We will then learn about each others dreams, goals, and inspirations that we have in our lives! We may even get a visit from some WP team members and hear how they followed their ambitions and goals! Please RSVP by Wednesday, January 11th.
NAVIGATING THE MAZE OF COLLEGE ADMISSIONS
When: Wednesday, January 18th I 6:30pm I Location: Game Room Fee: Complimentary In this one hour seminar we will discuss common myths around high school course selection, standardized test scores, and the college application process. We will discuss the most important factors in a successful college application and planning meaningful extracurricular activities; how to plan for a resume and an activity list that represents your student's interest. The class will allow for a Q&A at the end. Don't miss out and register by Friday, January 13th.
SOCCER SHOTS
When: January 10th - February 21st 2023 Mini: 4:00pm I Classic: 4:45pm I Location: Sports Club Fee: $112.00 for the 12 week session
Soccer shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development. The caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. All children ages 2-6 are welcomed to enroll. Spaces are limited.
BRING ON THE MAGIC KIDS NIGHT OUT
When: Saturday, January 21st I 5:30pm-9:30pm Ages: 6-11 I Location: Game Room Fee: $25 per child (includes dinner and snack) While your parents are enjoying a good laugh at the clubhouse for Comedy Night, come join the activities team for a night of Magic! We will be entertained by a magic show you will not forget! Can you figure out the secret of his magic? Sign up by Wednesday, January 18th to find out!
CAMPER VS. ACTIVITY STAFF KIDS DAY OUT
When: Friday, January 27th I 9:00am-3:00pm Ages: 6-10 I Location: Sports Club Fee: $50 per child (includes lunch & snack) *Sibling discount available
Let's kick off the weekend with some fun during this kids day out joyous event! Bring your thinking caps because during this one day camp, you will be able to teach us your favorite games! We are going to go through the camp playing your favorite games, the activity leaders favorite games and pick our favorite at the end! We will have team challenges, craft picks and so much more! Please RSVP by Monday, January 23rd.
POLAR BEAR PLUNGE
When: Sunday, January 29th I 2:00pm-3:00pm Ages: Everyone I Location: Sports Club Fee: Complimentary *Food & Drinks by member charge
Although we are not holding a company wide contest this year with the Polar Plunge, we would still like to give you the chance to jump in the frigid water!! Afterwards we can warm up with some delicious chili or sip on some hot chocolate! Please RSVP by Thursday, January 26th.
SUPERBOWL KIDS NIGHT OUT
Who is ready for the Super bowl? Come join the activities team for a night surrounded by all the super bowl has to offer! We will create our own million dollar commercial, play a variety of football games, put on our best show for halftime and enjoy a tailgate dinner! Wear your team colors and RSVP by Tuesday, February 7th.
TIES & TIARAS FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE
When: Saturday, February 25th I 6:00pm-8:00pm Ages: All ages I Location: Clubhouse Fee: Father/Daughter 5 & Under: $24.95++ Father/Daughter 6 & up $36.95++ I Additional Daughter: $14.95++ One of the best events of the year, our Father/Daughter Dance! This year our theme is Ties & Tiaras! Come dressed in your best and enjoy a wonderful evening together! We will have a great DJ to keep you moving and a delicious dinner for all to enjoy! VALENTINES DAY KIDS' NIGHT OUT
As your parents enjoy a romantic dinner at the clubhouse, join us at the Sports Club as we celebrate this heartfelt holiday! We will be making our own Valentines Day cards, going on a cupid scavenger hunt, creating our own heart cookies and so much more! Please RSVP by Thursday, February 9th.
FINDING NEMO & DORY KIDS' DAY OUT
Grab your fins & snorkel as we are on a search for our favorite seaside friends - Nemo & Dory! Follow the bubbles as we will have to complete challenges before receiving the next clue! Each challenge will consist of teamwork, leadership, creativity, trust and so much more! Let's reunite Dory & Nemo to their ocean friends!! Please RSVP by Thursday, February 16th.
