The cad drawings were imported intoSketchUp, assigned materials and lighting, then rendered using V-Ray. Post-production for final presentations were done in Photoshop.

8 OPTION A PROJECT: Renovation of Existing CLIENT:RestaurantWalsh Properties LOCATION: Baton Rouge, LA FEATURING CASUAL DINING & BAR WITH OUTDOOR AND INDOOR SEATING COURSEY PLACE
Producing concepts for renovating an abandoned restaurant attached to an existing shopping centre. The idea was to try to keep costs at a minimum, make the existing structure visually appealing while taking advantage of unused space in front of the restaurant. Outdoor seating and service, both covered and open-air, would be Theadded.building finishes were dated, colors were dull, and featured wrought iron throughout. The goal was to modernize the look with brighter colors and new finishes. Steakhouse

PROJECT DESCRIPTON: Renovation an existing Food Court located between a connecting office complex and the shopping center. This is an upscale mall featuring well known stores such as Saks, Tiffany, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, Allen Edmonds and Brooks Brothers to name a few. The renovated Food Court needed to reflect the same level of sophistication. The Challenges: • Poor visibility of food court tenants • Large existing structural columns impairing visibility • Poor Graphics and signage • Low ceiling due to overhead structure • Poor lighting • Dull and uninteresting finishes •Solution:Shrink the overall size of existing columns by removing their skins and apply new finishes reflecting overall ambience • Add video monitors to columns • Install blade signs on façade for each individual tenant • Convert existing recessed ceiling lights to LED • Add linear LED accent strip lighting to Food Court façade • Add decorative pendant lighting at front edge of food court seating • Replace existing furniture with new tables and seating featuring contemporary finishes 14 PROJECT: Renovation of Existing Food CLIENT:Court The Shops at Canal Place LOCATION: New Orleans, LA

PROJECT: SUGAH
This building is located near a local university, so the clientele would be a mixture of young students, local business workers and the general Thepublic.idea was to make the space appealing, casual, bright, and warm. The coffee house was to serve not only take-out orders, but also table seating with waited service. The new finishes were organic, with a combination of brick and wood flooring, along with brass pendant lights, contemporary furniture with leather covered seating.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Converting an existing tenant space that was previously a fast-food restaurant into a coffee house. The client has a successful business model specializing in serving flavored coffees, tea, and confectionery treats.

EXISTING TENANT SPACE SKETCHUP MODEL
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Tenant build-out in a local shopping centre located on the Mississippi River in New Orleans. This was a franchise operation that required following a design format as outlined by their corporate design team, with the final drawings subject to their review and approval. The challenge was that the entire shopping centre of over 200 stores was being completely renovated, and the spaces offered were “gray boxes” with framing only for each space.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This retail store project is located in the beautiful Garden District of New Orleans. The client had a vision for her women’s fashion clothing boutique featuring dressy and casual wear. The freestanding building was designed by others, while I produced the design of the retail store. Services included space planning, designing all custom display fixtures, lighting, materials and finishes, as well as cad drawings.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This client, which is a major manufacturer and supplier of handbags and accessories to major retailers, was exploring opportunities for establishing their own retail stores in foreign markets. I was asked to create various designs with color renders for consideration. The fixturing needed to accommodate merchandise that is very colorful, with a wide variety of shapes and sizes. A minimalist approach was needed, and the space was to be light, bright, with low voltage lighting to highlight displays. A 3D model was created, then rendered with various materials and textures. These renderings represent the final approved design.

PROJECT: ST. CHARLES MANDEVILLE,VISION LA PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The existing store of a local chain of optical stores needed to be renovated to reflect the sophistication of their home store located in New Orleans. The overall image was to be modern, elegant, with proper lighting as required for an effective presentation. To create a sense of openess, the existing ceiling would be removed and an open grid overhead installedfor attaching lighting at optimum height.

This project was a tenant build-out of an existing space situated near Lakeside Shopping Centre in New Orleans, LA. The store featured footwear for young children, so the color scheme was to be bright using primary colors and light finishes. services included design, space planning, cabinet details for locally made signage and graphics.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This client intiated a feasibility study for a free-standing ice cream kiosk that could be adaptable to any public environment such as an airport, shopping centre or office complex. This required a small footprint with enough space to accomodate opposing service areas and required equipment. Services provided included design, 3D modelling and color renderings.
