Interpretation/Use: This map was created to allow all the various neighborhoods within the city limits to see where the boundaries are located. Once this was created, I brought it to ArcGIS Online to allow people to see all the updates and be able to click on each boundary and get up to date information and send them to each neighborhoods webpage.

Interpretation/Use: This map was created to inform the students, staff, faculty and visitors on campus where you’re allowed to smoke. Each location, also has a hyperlink to show actual pictures of each location.

Allows you to see what space is coded and allow for easier planning. Also, There are pictures taken throughout the interior That allows you to see various angles in the room and building. You get to see the assets of a building Such as: fire alarm pull stations, emergency lights, Fire horns, fire extinguisher, etc..

Texas Department of Transportation Smoking Permitted Locations Author: Michael Blevins Date: 2007 Data Source: TxDOT GIS data. Interpretation/Use: This map shows the 11 areas and 9 counties that Wichita Falls District was in charge of. These maps show all the state roadways and county roads with bridge locations, linear referencing for construction areas.

City of Wichita Falls, Texas FEMA Flood Map Author: Michael Blevins Date: 2000 Data Source: CWF GIS data. Interpretation/Use: These maps are utilized for emergency management and as a FEMA advocate determining where structures and property are located in the flood district and which zone.
FEMA Flood Map Author: Michael Blevins Date: 2001 Data Source: CWF GIS data. Interpretation/Use: These maps are utilized for the Code Enforcement Officers to see which zone they have to enforce. This allows all five officers to see what areas all officers will be in. When calls come in dispatch is able to make the appropriate call to the officer.

The map also has a time limit buffer to associate how long it would take to travel from the individual’s location to the shelter and which road to take.

Interpretation/Use: These maps are utilized to show and inform the public, city officials, and Sheppard Air Force Base of the air surface zones. on the Zoning Use for the City of Wichita Falls. Each zone has an extensive database associated with it to allow for height restrictions throughout the city. This map was utilized also for cellular tower location to be determined more accurately and safely. Extensive field and analysis was performed creating and maintaining this map.
