2024 YOUTH BUSINESS SUMMIT

Over 4,800 people attended this year's YBS held at the Javits Center in New York City! This event is the largest in VE's history and included over 200 firms from 13 states and 7 countries.

On day one, firms competed in the National Business Plan competition along with the Finance, Marketing and HR competitions. On day two, the top 8 business plan teams competed for the title of National Business

Plan Champion, while other students competed in the Global Innovation Challenge and Financial Literacy Competition. Day two also included the Annual National Trade Show where firms were able to sell their products and network with other firms from across the world!

2024-25 Program Registration

Program Registration for the 2024-25 SY is now available. To register, select the Program Registration icon on the Hub, which will contain pre-populated information for your entire school. If your school has multiple facilitators or both VE and VE-JV programs, please ensure one program registration is submitted on behalf of the school. The deadline to submit is June 30, 2024.

National Teachers' Conference

Join us in Fort Lauderdale, FL / July 16 - 18

Join us for the annual 2024 VE National Teachers' Conference to learn about new resources and tools that can be used to enhance your VE and VE-JV program next fall!

This exciting 3-day event includes teacher training, sharing of best practices, networking opportunities, and learning new strategies for engaging students in business, marketing and entrepreneurship education. Attendees will participate in workshops, panel discussions, interactive sessions, and special events!

All VE and VE-JV teachers are encouraged to attend.

Southern Region Facilitator Workshop

This coming school year we will be heading to Lawrenceburg, TN for our annual Facilitator Workshop. We are excited to learn how Loretto HS, Lawrenceburg County HS and Summertown HS have created such a strong VE Community in their county along with their secrets to successful programs.

Please have your students fill out this survey before they head out for the summer. All responses are anonymous and confidential. After completion of the survey the respondant will be entered into a raffle for a $50 gift card!

Annually in May, facilitators can complete a Career Ready Badge Nomination, including qualifying student names with check-boxes to verify criteria met, and a personal email to allow individual badges to be sent to each student, along with an invitation to the VE Alumni Association. Nominations will be uploaded using the Hub>Curriculum>Submission Forms SAVE THE DATE!
