Come outside to play and learn! Membership for each child covers an entire season of an affordable opportunity to visit the Garden multiple times. Discounts on activities and member-only events will be offered. Membership Fees:

Birthday Parties & Reservations

Tuesdays 10am-1pm Wednesdays 6pm-8pm Saturdays 10am-1pm

Reservations for parties are available after public hours on Saturdays. Private parties are reserved for a minimum of 2 hour at $50 per hour. No need to bring any decorations; we think the garden decorates itself! Private groups, preschools, daycares and camps are welcomed to reserve time in the garden. Reservation fee of $50 per hour.

Free book with each paid admission. All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

Ages- 7-10 Years Old Do you ‘dig’ dinosaurs? Come join us as we explore and learn about these interesting, pre-historic creatures. $15 Per Camper; Limit 15 Campers

June 13 School’s Out Picnic

6-7pm Come and enjoy a FREE hot dog, chips and a drink. Play BINGO to win prizes! MEMBERS ONLY - Free; Adults and siblings without membership - $2 each

June 18-23: Habitat Week June 20 Build a Birdhouse

6-7:30pm Participants will be provided the necessary materials to build a solid wood birdhouse for their yard. Children will use hammers, sandpaper and drills under close supervision. Members $8; Non-Members $10 Limit of 25 participants

YOGA FOR KIDS

June 26 – July 24 (NO class July 10th);

Tuesdays 5:00pm-5:45pm Offered to ages 5-10 $55 for 4 week session; MUST pre-register

June 25 Ukulele 6-7pm

Ages: 8-13 Years Old Each child will learn to play kazoos, percussion instruments and 3 chords on the ukulele (instruments provided). Children will participate in a sing-along at the close of the session. (Sponsored in part by Mark & Sue Ann Palmer) $4 Per Person; Limit of 25 participants

June 30 America the Beautiful

11am-12pm Make a patriotic craft and enjoy a red, white and blue snow cone! FREE activity with regular admission; No pre-registration required.

Imaginations will be nutured as each child makes animals and creatures using things found in nature. (Closed on July 4th)

Ages: 4-6 Years Old Learn about properties and use of water as you play and experiment. Limit 15 campers; $15 Per Camper

July 13 Water Exploration Camp

10am-3pm LOCATION: Norwalk Creek Pavilion at War Memorial Park Ages: 8-12 Years Old Description available online. $25 Per Camper; Limit 15 campers

July 16-21: Seed Week July 18 The Secret Life of Fairies

6pm Ages 4 and up Make a fairy garden and learn how to attract fairies. Natural products will be provided; fairies & accessories can be purchased on-site. Bring your own medium-sized container and any other decorative item you wish to use. $3 Per Person; Adults are welcome to participate; All MUST pre-register for this activity.

July 23-28: Turtle Week

Crafts and activities will teach about the life, habits and habitats of turtles.

July 30-August 4: Creature Week Aug. 1 Puppet Show 11-11:30am

For the Wee Ones: 3-5 Years Old Garden exploration time from 11:30am-12pm (Courtesy of the Wonderment Puppet Theater) FREE activity; MUST pre-register; Limit 20 children; Age limit restriction, so please NO siblings (younger or older)

Aug. 1 Live Animal Show

(By ‘Critters & Conservation’) This interesting informative program, featuring four exotic animals, is sure to interest all ages. (Sponsored in part by Sister ACTS from Otterbein United Methodist Church) $5 Per Person; MUST pre-register for this activity; Limit 20 children

August 5-11: Flower Week Aug. 8 “Field to Vase”

6-7pm (By Anthony of Flowers Unlimited) Ages: 9-12 Years Old Students will learn the basics of floral design using cut garden flowers. $10; Includes all supplies and final arrangement

August 13-18: Spiders Week
