Scott Rosenzweig At Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada, we are committed to ensuring that every eligible child experiences the hope and joy that a wish brings. I tell my Board often, “Not on my watch, will a child wait one day longer than necessary to receive the prescription of hope only Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada can provide.”

They say it takes a village to raise a child but here at MakeA-Wish Southern Nevada, we know it takes a community to grant a wish. Kids like Kathleen, who suffers from a genetic disorder that has left her non-verbal and quadriplegic. Not only can Kathleen now relax in her own backyard hot tub, but she can also complete her hydrotherapy sessions at home. In a place that feels familiar and safe.

We’re aware of the many great causes there are in Southern Nevada. Thank you for supporting our community.

Last year we had a record-breaking year, granting 174 wishes and with new kiddos being referred daily, we believe we’ll have another record-breaking year in 2024.

This year, we decided to share all the ways to become involved with us to ensure every eligible child gets a wish, thanks to your help.

While additional opportunities will undoubtedly become available, now is the time to commit, and help us plan, budget, and grant more wishes. We believe wishes improve the odds for wish kids fighting critical illnesses. It’s why we do what we do. Sure, wishes are amazing and fun. More than that, they inspire and have the power to change lives. Wishes help kids look past their limitations, families overcome anxiety, and entire communities experience joy. Most importantly, wishes can improve a child’s quality of life, giving them a better chance of recovering.

We engage our entire community in the wish process, spreading happiness throughout Southern Nevada.

A wish engages entire communities in life-changing moments. It inspires supporters, volunteers, medical professionals, and others to join us in helping children with critical illnesses. We strive to create stories that show them how they connect to these moments – and how these moments enrich their lives.

Our team members, volunteers and donors work hard to ensure all wish kids have an extraordinary, life-changing wish experience. Make-A-Wish is also recognized as the nation’s #1 Most Trusted charity, currently celebrating 42 years of wish-granting and impact.
