Proceeds from tonight’s event benefit the Supply Zone for Teachers, a program of Brevard Schools Foundation. The Supply Zone for Teachers is a resource center that provides free school supplies for those who need them most. This “store” is stocked entirely through donations and serves the teachers and students at Brevard’s high-poverty schools. By distributing free supplies to teachers, the Supply Zone gives economically-disadvantaged children the means to learn and achieve in school. Students no longer have to feel disconnected, embarrassed, and unprepared; the supplies they need are ready and waiting for them in the classroom.
