HELLO, WE ARE HENAU As always, different design styles are being ­explored in the new

HENAU

collection. The result?

A varied collection with nevertheless a clear basic principle: the entwining of craftsmanship and imagination, which is known to be HENAU’S trademark.

Lovers of refined details can again, literally and figuratively speaking, keep their eyes peeled. We present some brand new models and some regulars that got revamped. Some were finetuned, ­others underwent a thorough facelift. This year, we even launch a duo design for the first time. We bet you will have your eye on it too.

ROTA

More than ever, our duo design consisting of the Toga and Rota, features as the

HENAU

collection’s

absolute eyecatcher. On top of that, we launch a marked novelty (during the production process): the decalage of the front with respect to hinges and temples. As the front piece is transparent and not interrupted by the temples, it seems as if the front of the glasses comes out of the temples. Although the duo looks contemporary, the design also clearly makes a nod to the modernism of the 1960s. The bold colour scheme is completely in line with the design. What’s more: Toga & Rota can be worn both as optical glasses and as sunglasses.

TOGA

The Toga is the second model of our duo design and, together with the ROTA, it makes the ultimate fashion statement of the

HENAU collection. The de-

sign of the decalage of the front with respect to hinges and temples makes it look like the front of the glasses comes out of the temples. Together with the Rota, this cheeky duo looks contemporary with a sharp nod to the 1960s’ modernism. The Toga & Rota can be worn both as optical glasses and as sunglasses and are available in many trendy colour combinations. With our design duo, you catch the view and the attention when you are strolling over the Piazza San Marco, for example.

ZOOM

The ZOOM is a new design within the regular HENAU collection. For the design, we were inspired by the Hexagono, but the result is surprisingly quirky.

The ZOOM can be described as with a fresh, contemporary character and chic, elegant look. This makes the model the perfect eyewear for people who are looking for an original fashion item that radiates both uniqueness and style. That these two do not always contradict each other, is proven by this new creation by HENAU.

ZO

ZO is, along with BO and NOE, the third new line inspired by our well-known CHLOE line. However, here as well, we focused on some unique features.

For example, ZO is characterized by a double bridge, which does extremely well in the market at the moment – and which made us a trendsetter, as we successfully launched the MO with double bridge in 2011 already. Just like the BO, the ZO is eyewear that perfectly fits the nose of younger people with a rather narrow face. A bridge too far?

BO

This completely new style by

surprises with its graceful, marked female shapes.

In that sense, the BO somewhat reminds of the CHLOE but it has rounder lenses and is also a tad smaller. The result, which we like to describe as a ‘sophisticated butterfly model’, is tailored to the need of younger people with a rather narrow face who love specific, refined colour combinations.

The exceptionally comfortable feel of the frame is the icing on the ‘nose’.

NOE

If women were glasses, they might look like our new NOE model. This style nods to our successful CHLOE design but has a personality all of its own thanks to the triangular lenses. Just like the BO, this is an eyewear line that corresponds to what we call the ‘sophisticated butterfly model’.

Although NOE is intended for every glasses lover, it might create the greatest added value for the somewhat more mature ladies who love quirky colour combinations.

M606

M606 stands for a refinement of our M5 and M6 models (within the M0-M10 series). In concrete terms, we worked on a larger, more contemporary version in which the shape of the M5 and M6 was further purified. The result is a strong design in typical

shape and bold colour scheme that is in line with its design: transparent, bright and very easy to wear. Those who are looking for glasses with character that is also a nice object find what they are looking for in the M606.

MARTHA

Martha, one of our popular lines, got quite a touchup in the run-up to the launch of the 2018 collection.

More than ever, we went for bold colours, as many people today are not afraid of eyewear with an eccentric personality. The harmony of contrasting colours and a design that reinterprets the fashion history makes Martha a highly appreciated fashion item and a pair of unique, flashy sunglasses.

A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE ON THE PAST AND THE FUTURE Sometimes, an outcome exceeds the sum of its elements. That is exactly what happened when at the start of the eighties, Michel Henau met Marc Delagrange.
