Jan. 25

2:42 p.m. Police were called to a report of a trespass in the 300 block of Pine Street where a woman reported that someone entered her car and smoked a cigarette. The woman reportedly knew the suspect, and nothing was missing from the car.

Feb. 8

9:30 p.m. Police were called to a report of fraud in the 1800 block of Loggers Lane. A person in Florida reported that someone had impersonated him and bought $5,700 worth of carpet. Police are investigating.

Feb. 13

3:13 p.m. Police arrested a 27-year-old Craig man on a felony charge of marijuana cultivation, and misdemeanor charges of harassment and false imprisonment, after a contact from Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. security in the Knoll Parking Lot on Mount Werner Circle. Police said Ski Corp. security saw the man leave a 3-foot-tall black trash bag near the parking area’s security station. The bag contained fullgrown marijuana plants still in potting soil, police said. Police said the man also allegedly harassed housekeeping staff at nearby condos. The incident is under investigation.

Feb. 23

4:16 p.m. Police were called to a report of fraud in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a person reported that someone had ordered $5,000 worth of champagne with a fraudulent credit card.

March 4

2:49 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in Central Park Plaza where a person working in a business reported that a man came in, slapped him and told him to not sell cocaine to his daughter. Officers took a report.

March 7

10:19 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 600 block of Hilltop Parkway where a woman reported she thought she heard a loud boom or explosion coming from downtown that shook her house. Before officers could respond, the woman called back to say the sound was caused by snow and ice sliding off her roof, and everything was fine.

March 9

4:35 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue where a person reported hearing something that sounded like Morse code, possibly from a skier. Officers found that the sound was coming from a building alarm, and everything was fine.

Feb. 21 3:11 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2700 block of Eagleridge Drive, where a person reported that he or she could see a person in the bushes and hear two or three others. The people in the bushes reportedly were talking about how they were trying to crawl onto a balcony. The people were gone when officers arrived.
