Acknowledgment
The League of English Language and Literature Students would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the aspiring writers who contributed to this literary folio. For the second time around, we owe you our greatest appreciation. We would not be here if it weren't for you all.
To Mr. Christian Loid Valenzuela, our adviser and mentor, the organization would also like to thank you for your invaluable support from the very start until the end. Your assistance played a crucial role in the success of this literary folio.
And of course, to everyone under this organization— officers, committee members, and members. This would not be possible without your help. May you all flow and go along the waves of life.
Many thanks and bon voyage!

Editor’s Note
Good day, our fellow sailors!
I’m glad that you’re now on board the LELLS 2024 Literary Folio - “La Vague!”
With the theme “Sailing through the Currents of Life with Literature,” I have observed that all of these poems have served its purpose to help you express your thoughts in the most creative way possible.
I’m grateful for all of the members of Press Relations and Communication Committee for helping me input every poem that you’ll read today. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.
Despite hardships that we all faced recently, I’m thankful for everyone who gave their free time to send their entries for this much-awaited online activity of this organization.
Again, thank you for your presence here.
I hereby declare the essence of literature will never end its journey anytime soon. Until we meet again...

Closing Remarks
From cave markings to quills and now pens—literature embarks on a journey through human civilization. As we navigate towards contemporary era, literature kept archiving numerous human experiences for the next generation to enjoy. In this aspect, literature is like a ship sailing across waves of life, seas of emotions and oceans of existence.
This year's literary folio of the League of English Language and Literature Students (LELLS) titled La Vague, we are reminded that we are the captains of our ships. As captains, we must have an idea of our destination, especially on how to get there. We have tools to use in sailing smoothly. Like literature, we have our skills to preserve them and to let it continue inspiring many people through time.
Every piece included in this folio is infused with infinitesimal voices—yet when collated—they can transform into a cornucopia of narratives that will shed light in various hues to better fathom what was it like to sail through the currents of life with literature.
Thank you to all of La Vague's contributors. May all of your pieces be always a source of inspiration to the readers of this folio.
XO, Loid
