OUR PROCESS

For each project, Osbee follows a comprehensive step-by-step process, guided by a dedicated organizational leaders. Designed to simplify the complex, our process provides the flexibility required to meet the unique demands of each project, and allows for as much — or as little — involvement as the client desires.

First Contact

To gather as much information as possible about what’s desired in a system

Concept Session

To show what’s possible, how the system will be built, and provide a basis for feedback and refinement

Design Presentation

To refine and perfect the system design and provide an estimate of costs for approval

All-trades Meeting

To ensure everyone involved in the execution of the construction project understands the plans

Design & Engineering

To reach a final working plan and prepare for work to begin

Job Site Walkthrough

To review the layout of the system on-site prior to wiring

Pre-wire & Rough-in

To install the wiring and prepare for the trim phase

Trim & Rack Building

To finalize all work prior to installation of devices

Final Installation Programming

To complete all physical system installations

To make the system fully functional and ready for use

Client Training

To ensure clients get the most enjoyment from their new systems

ROLE: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing organization in a newly created Director of Operations role. Serving as the “glue” between teams, this role will be integral in driving efficiency, optimizing systems, and ensuring seamless operations across projects.

The position is designed for a solutionoriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively bridge bluecollar workforces with leadership expectations. This role is based in New York and focuses solely on NY operations, not Palm Beach.

This is not a "corporate" role; it requires someone who can roll up their sleeves, address real-world challenges like routing technicians or troubleshooting emergencies, and implement practical solutions that work in the field. This person will have a fleet of resources at their disposal, including a company truck, but must bring a strong sense of initiative and accountability.

STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

(FIRST 6-12 MONTHS)

Create More Efficient Systems: Review current operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and optimize workflows for scheduling, distribution, and resource allocation.

Optimize Distribution and Flow Chain: Ensure materials, tools, and vehicles are efficiently routed and available for field teams, minimizing delays.

Strengthen Team Cohesion: Serve as the key point of connection between technicians, project managers, and leadership to ensure alignment and collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily schedules for technical staff, ensuring timely and efficient deployment to job sites.

Act as the liaison between the Customer Service Manager and Project Managers, optimizing staff assignments and troubleshooting real-time issues.

Run weekly scheduling meetings to allocate technicians effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Visit job sites regularly to monitor progress, resolve issues, and address client concerns as needed.

Ensure fleet management, including vehicle tracking and maintenance.

Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring tools and materials are ordered and available for projects.

Troubleshoot operational problems and make informed decisions independently or in collaboration with the COO.

Ensure field staff adhere to company standards and protocols, including time tracking and project reporting.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in logistics and operations, preferably in the contracting, electrical, or service-based industries. Experience managing crews, optimizing workflows, and handling on-the-ground challenges is essential.

NON-NEGOTIABLES

Comfortable working in a hands-on, noncorporate environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience interacting with blue-collar teams and addressing challenges like absenteeism, emergencies, or upset clients.

Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

Experience running operations in contracting, electrical, or related fields.

Familiarity with managing logistics, fleet maintenance, and field team coordination.

TEAM & LEADERSHIP

Serve as a Project Manager of Project Managers, ensuring alignment across project managers and technicians.

Collaborate closely with the COO on troubleshooting and operational decisions.

Balance leadership with hands-on involvement, maintaining rapport with blue-collar staff while meeting leadership expectations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: $110,000 - $170,000, depending on experience.

Perks: Company truck (It can be used while at work, but not taken home), same benefits package as all employees, no travel outside NY operations.

Benefits: 401(k) plan, 10 holidays, 16 personal days, laptop, phone, and tools provided.

Rare weekend work; typical hours are between 8:00 AM to 5:15 - 5:45 PM.

Optimized resource management by ensuring that tools, materials, and company vehicles were always available and ready for use as needed. Company vehicles were designated for work purposes only and not permitted for personal use or to be taken home.
