Here we observe 6 x 2 = 12 , On adding 3 to 12 , we will get 12 + 3 = 15 . Now 5 from 15 will be placed at the tens place and 1 will be carried to the hundreds place . In next step we Will multiply 1 x 6 = 6 and then the carried number will be added to 6 . In this way we can find the product of any 3 digit number with one digit number . If we have the smaller multiplier which means the number with which we are multiplying is a small number then in such cases multiplication can also be represented by repeated addition . Let us make it more clear with the following example . Suppose we want to multiply the number 204 by 2 . Then we say it means 204 is to be added two times
