I am a very curious person who always felt a huge need to feed my wisdom and capabilities to develop my self-expression. Since very little I was self-raised in my interests, references and artistic pursuit. Because of that, I’ve been able to acquire the skills, experience and knowledge I have nowadays besides reaching my own goals. That’s something that continues today and always will as I am constantly exploring, experimenting, researching and looking to wide my mind.

As an artist and designer, all my life has been moved by art. Art as a method of expression, as a subject of study and as a contemplative plenitude.

Music, cinema, fashion, photography, painting, literature... With a special interest in revulsive, subversive and underground art followed not only by their image and aesthetics but also by the history behind and social impact created.

The crossing point between vanguard and tradition is very stimulating for me, because of that I enjoy studying and researching both parts, sometimes intermingling them in my works with some aesthetic/ conceptual purpose of contrast.

About the collection

For my final degree project, I wanted to reflect the pure essence of my style in a simple and timeless way.

Some belts are adjusted to various parts of the body resembling the tight and corseted figures from many singers from the industrial and punk genre. Also alluding straitjackets and bdsm, highlighting a certain dark tendency within the collection and the brand’s style.

About the collection

I was asked to create the supposedly new collection of a Spanish brand of my choice. I chose Paco Rabanne.

I did a deep study about the brand, old and current collections. Also added some concepts reminding the 60s /70s, the Paco Rabanne’s brilliant era and other concepts like trikinis, space-age, ABBA, Veruschka...

Accesories

Handmade metallic bag completelly made from scratch using key chains, metal buttons, safety pins of different sizes and other hardware items.

DESCRIPCIÓN

Chaqueta oversize de color beige con trabillas para poner cinturones que ajusten la prenda al cuerpo (2 en cada manga y 2 en el cuerpo).

Goma elástica en los puños y parte del cintal que ciñe la chaqueta a las muñecas y a la cadera respectivamente.

Anchura cuello 11.5cm.

Manga tipo sastre. Largo de manga 64cm (puño incluído).

Goma elástica de 22cm a cada lado.

2 Pinzas en cada manga situadas en la parte delantera. Separación de cm entre ambas y 2cm de profunidad en cada una.

La chaqueta lleva en cada manga dos pares de trabillas; dos trabillan se sitúan en una de las costuras de unión de la manga sastre, la más próxima a la zona de la axila, y las otras dos paralelamente en el lado contrario.

En en cuerpo lleva dos pares en la parte delantera, dos en la trasera, y un par en los laterales.

La chaqueta va colocada de esta manera.

El primer cinturon se fija a al brazo por encima del codo, el segundo por debajo del codo. De igual manera se hará en la otra manga. El tercer cinturón se sitúa por debajo del pecho, y el cuarto en la cintura.

Los cinturones 1 y 2 (y los otros dos de la otra manga)deberán tener como mínimo 60cm de largo y 4.8 cm de ancho como máximo.

En el caso de los cinturones 3 y 4 deberán tener 100cm como mínimo de largo y 4.8cm de ancho como máximo,

Puño de 25.5cm de diámetro x 6cm de ancho.

La cremallera NO continúa en el cuello.

FASHION EXPERIENCE

Saroni: Intership

Comercial Textil Saroni S.L is a fashion supplier company located in Galicia (Spain) that works with other brands around the world. (Inditex, Pepe Jeans, Desigual...)

Assisting the creative director designing garments for the different clients’ requests.

Actively communicating with the creative director my ideas. Elaboration of trend boards, fabric boards, mood boards, digital prints and updating inventory.

Working closely with the pattern making team on the sample fitting sessions to ensure the quality of the garments.

Chema Diaz: Intership

Chema Diaz is brand recognized within the London queer scene for their printed t-shirts and sweatshirts with queer mottos.

Responsible for stitching details and arrangements of the garments from Chema Diaz’s first collection SS19. Model fitting and alterations. Elaboration of accessories.

Bang London: Intership

Bang London is small brand known for doing performance costumes for many different artists all over the world. (Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Spice Girls, Rita Ora...)

Collaborating with the creative design team bringing personal assistance to the creative director throughout the elaboration of the costumes for the Pussy Cat Dolls’ comeback in X Factor (UK) amongst some other personalities and local event performances.

Stoning and embellishing the different garments, sewing assistance, assisting fittings and drawing fashion illustrations.

René Scheibenbauer: Intership

René Scheibenbauer graduated from Central Saint Martins where his collection ‘Empathy, Connection, Play was awarded the runner up of ‘L’Oréal Professionel Young Talent Award’.

During my experience with René I was working closely with him for his AW20 collection by assisting with pattern cutting, working on mock-ups, toiling, and production related tasks such as research, line sheet making, and communication with manufacturers.

In 2021 I started taking photographs under the name of ‘Panorama’. They are all taken with the panoramic mode of my phone, styled and developed by me. Panorama was born with the need to portray my world beyond, to explore and experiment with my self expression through a quick and perpetual format as it is photography.
