Member Milestones

We wish to acknowledge our recent Member Milestones, for both 25 Years and 100 Years. These Milestones were recently celebrated at our President’s Lunch on 15th October 2021.

A J Paternoster & Son Pty Ltd reached the remarkable milestone of 100 Years of Membership with Master Plumbers. We also wish to congratulate and thank AE Stratton Pty Ltd, Lane Plumbing Service, Murch Plumbing & Roofing Pty Ltd and Peter the Plumber on reaching the fantastic achievement of 25 Years Membership.

We thank all of our new, current and long-serving Members of our Association. We feel it is important, now more than ever to support each other and work together for the benefit of our industry.

COVID-19 Vaccinations in healthcare settings

As you may be aware, from 1st November 2021, any person who engages in work or performs duties in healthcare settings must have received at least one dose of TGA approved COVID-19 vaccination, and received or have evidence of their second dose booking.

As these changes affect the plumbing industry, some Members may have issues with employees refusing the vaccination. We recommend taking the advice of the FairWork Ombudsman in the first instance, then seeking legal advice if necessary.

Master Plumbers SA Members are entitled to receive free preliminary legal advice by phone from Lynch Meyer Lawyers, as part of their Member Benefits.
