PROGRAMA MASTER DE ARQUITECTURA DEL PAISAJE

Programa de Máster fundado en el curso 1982-1983, fue el primer Master de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), y cumple en la próxima edición su 34 aniversario.

Se trata de un Programa de Master basado en un ‘Design Studio’, con una carga de proyectación de alrededor del 80%. El 20% restante se basa en acceder a los conocimientos a través de clases teóricas - conferencias de expertos profesionales, complementando el proceso de diseño. Es este punto que lo diferencia del resto de programas, donde el aprendizaje es teórico casi por completo.

En consecuencia a la forma de docencia, el sistema de evaluación de aprendizaje de los conocimientos impartidos, se hace de forma continuada y a través de su buena aplicación en el proyecto práctico.

Es un firme candidato a ser Máster de Excelencia de la UPC en el Estado Español y cuenta con un gran renombre entre los profesionales del sector.

The Master’s Program in Landscape Architecture (Màster d’Arquitectura de Paisatge, MAP, UPC) established during the academic course 1982-1983, was the first postgraduate course of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), and reaches, with its next Edition, its 34th Anniversary.

It is a strong candidate for the short list Master’s of Excellence of UPC, and has a great reputation among professionals that leads to a high employability of its alumni around the world.

The program is an education platform that gave birth to the European Biennial of Landscape Architecture (1999-to the present) and is also the basis for an intense agenda of cultural and research activities in Landscape Architecture. Finally, it has become an educational reference in the field in Europe, especially in the Mediterranean zone. Its raising reputation allows every year to select 18 competent graduates from all around the world that are ready to work extremely hard and commit to the Landscape Architecture as a profession.

Introducción El Máster de Arquitectura del Paisaje se ofrece a partir de ésta su 37ª edición, en formato integrado al espacio de formación europeo.

La concreción de la integración en talleres de seis semanas y workshops internacionales, nos permite ofrecer una formación más flexible y adaptada a las necesidades del estudiante. Asimismo se ha reforzado el carácter internacional del programa, propiciando una mayor presencia de docentes extranjeros para desarrollar talleres abiertos consolidando así una mayor diversidad de docentes que siempre han sido la garantía de la calidad de nuestro máster.

Proponemos al estudiante un rango abierto de opciones que proporcionan aproximaciones proyectuales concretas y temáticas a la intervención en el paisaje, en periodos lectivos de distinta duración en la formación continua de la Arquitectura del Paisaje.

Introduction The Master in Landscape Architecture is offered from its next edition, its 37th one, integrated to the European Education space format. The concretion of this integration in six-week workshops and international workshops, let us to offer a more flexible and tailored educational structure to the needs of the students. It has also reinforced the international nature of the program, leading to increased presence of foreign teachers to develop open workshops consolidating a wider range of teachers who have always been the quality assurance of our master.

We offer students a range of options open to provide specific and thematic projective approaches to intervention in the landscape, teached in periods of different duration in the training of Landscape Architecture.

Continuing education on modular offer Modules offer We propose an approach of six weeks to the 4 major areas of work and research (public space, systems of green, water systems and tourism) as an introduction to a way of understanding the landscape, hold by one of the main professors of the master.

Intensive workshops offer The intensive workshops, proposes an intended entry to a proposed item by a visiting professor of international repute.

It requires a total availability of one week period in the Intensive Workshop 1 and 2, and two weeks in the Intensive Workshop 3.

The goal is experimentation and investigative brainstorming.

Master in Landscape Architecture Its intensive version allows to course in 1 year full time the full Master Program of 120 ECTS in a proposal of full immersion and commitment, with classes 4 evenings per week.

Its extended version allows to complete the program in 2 years part time, in order to allow a greater work-life balance.

Presentación El máster de Arquitectura del Paisaje (120ECTS) es un programa de 18 meses de duración full time (también realizable en dos años part time) que se estructura en cuatro talleres, tres workshops intensivos internacionales, 250 horas de prácticas en despachos profesionales nacionales e internacionales de reconocido prestigio, y el desarrollo de un Trabajo Final de Master.

El programa trata de poner énfasis sobre cuestiones proyectuales y de mantenimiento en el medio urbano y en el territorio que han surgido recientemente con mucha fuerza en nuestros entornos. Propone una temática que mantiene el compromiso con la actualidad, con la voluntad de continuar investigando sobre los tópicos del paisaje pero, a la vez, la exploración de temas emergentes.

El enfoque de los proyectos se centra en el entorno mediterráneo, abordando temas como la recuperación de espacios deteriorados, el proyecto de las periferias y de los espacios intersticiales de la ciudad y de sus fronteras, la restauración de los ecosistemas, la gestión y el proyecto de los espacios naturales, el proyecto del jardín, el proyecto del espacio

público y del parque, el espacio turístico, la costa, la gestión de los espacios de agua, la vegetación y sus procesos, etc.

El programa de Master de Arquitectura del Paisaje lo imparte el Departamento de Urbanismo y Ordenación del Territorio de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona (UPC), con la colaboración de: - Departamento de Biología Vegetal de la UB - Departamento de Ecología de la UB - Departamento de Ingeniería del Suelo, Minera y Cartográfica de la UPC - Departamento de Geografía de la UB y de la UAB - Departamento de Economía Aplicada de la UAB - Escuela de Ingeniería Agrícola de Barcelona (centro adscrito a la UPC) Objetivos El objetivo académico responde a la actual sensibilización por la temática paisajística y a la intervención ambiental en la que confluyen disciplinas diferentes, algunas directamente implicadas con los aspectos estéticos y técnicos de la intervención, como el paisajismo, la arquitectura, el urbanismo; otros vinculados a las ingenierías civiles,

agrícolas y forestales; y otros de formación científica en los campos de las ciencias ambientales o de la planificación, como la geografía, la economía, el derecho, etc.

Está dirigido al diseño de la intervención y la planificación de la protección, pero también de la transformación en paisajes naturales y artificiales. Es decir, a la proyectación de parques y espacios públicos, el tratamiento de espacios que hace falta mejorar, proteger y restaurar, específicamente en los sistemas costeros y espacios fluviales; a la ordenación y planificación del medio cuando está sujeto a cambios en el uso que lo modifican sustancialmente, como en los nuevos espacios agrícolas y turísticos.

Desarrolla el material básico para introducirse en el diseño de los aspectos estéticos pero también sociales, técnicos y científicos.

Aporta los conocimientos necesarios para la evaluación y comprensión del medio.

A quién va dirigido El máster está dirigido a jóvenes profesionales que muestre interés por el paisaje, especialmente a diplomados en paisaje, titulados superiores universitarios del ámbito

de la arquitectura, la agronomía, la geografía, la biología, la ingeniería, etc. y a licenciados interesados en la intervención en el paisaje.

Subsidiariamente también se dirige a profesionales formados en carreras técnicas que han seguido perfiles propios de formación relacionados con este campo (estudios en el extranjero, cursos de posgrado...) sensibilizados por la intervención en el paisaje.

Está dirigido a profesionales y a jóvenes titulados españoles y extranjeros que deseen actualizar, reciclar, profundizar o ampliar su formación en los campos de la problemática y el instrumental de la proyectación y la ordenación del paisaje. Facilita su incorporación a equipos interdisciplinarios interesados en este perfil profesional que tengan formaciones previas afines.

Contenidos El programa se desarrolla a través de la participación de los alumnos en cuatro talleres de seis semanas y tres talleres intensivos internacionales, que introducen la problemática y también la integración a pesar de las formaciones previas diversas. Esto facilita la formación de equipos pluridisciplinares,

ayuda a la creación de lenguajes comunes de comunicación ágiles y facilita la implementación de los conocimientos presentados en las lecciones de teoría y técnicas.

Los talleres están dirigidos por profesores expertos en el campo de la intervención, con práctica profesional reconocida, y por investigadores universitarios; estos profesores corregirán y tutorizarán los proyectos de los alumnos en las clases prácticas que se llevan a cabo en la escuela y mediante correcciones tanto públicas como particulares.

Los conocimientos necesarios de disciplinas implicadas en el campo en el que se esté trabajando, se introducen a partir de lecciones magistrales y mediante casos de estudio presentados por académicos y profesionales de reconocida experiencia.

Los talleres se relacionan con problemas reales y se presentarán en un contexto social y económico concreto. Se hará énfasis tanto en la presentación del instrumental de trabajo exigible profesionalmente para el desarrollo de las propuestas (instrumentos gráficos, pero también de planificación estratégica, Sistemas de Información Geográfica, etc.), como en los vehículos de

comunicación social para presentar las propuestas.

El programa incluye la realización de 250 horas de prácticas en despachos profesionales nacionales e internacionales de reconocido prestigio, y la presentación de un trabajo de investigación personal de cada alumno como Trabajo Final del Máster.

Los cinco talleres se pueden cursar modularmente como cursos de postgrado.

Los cursos se desarrollan cuatro tardes por semana,martes, miércoles, jueves y viernes. Éstos comprenden tanto contenidos teóricos como horas de taller, con correcciones por parte de los profesores.

Es importante remarcar que el desarrollo del trabajo precisa tiempo fuera de clase. Se organizan visitas y excursiones relacionadas con los temas de cada taller durante los fines de semana; además, los alumnos han de asistir a las actividades paralelas que suelen organizarse fuera del horario establecido por el programa (ciclos de conferencias, excursiones, etc.).

Presentation The Master de Arquitectura del Paisaje (120ECTS) is a 18 months full time program(also achievable in two years part time) which is divided into four quarterly workshops, three international intensive workshops, 250 internship hours in professional highly recognized national and international studios and the development of a final dissertation.

The program aims to put emphasis on projective and maintenance issues in the urban environment and the territory that have recently emerged with great force in our context. It proposes topics that are committed today, with the aim of further research on landscape’s topics but at the same time, exploring emerging issues.

The project approach focuses on the Mediterranean environment, addressing topics such as the recovery of damaged areas, the project of the peripheries and the interstitial spaces of the city and its boundaries, ecosystem restoration, natural areas management and project, the garden project, the public space and park design, the tourism, the coast and the water areas management, vegetation and its processes, etc..

The Master program of Landscape Architecture is provided by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, at the School of Architecture of Barcelona (UPC), with the collaboration of:

-Department of Plant Biology of the UB -Department of Ecology at the UB -Soil Engineering Department, Mining and Mapping of the UPC -Department of Geography, UB and UAB -Department of Applied Economics at the UAB -School of Agricultural Engineering of Barcelona (UPC affiliated center) Objectives The academic goal is to respond to the current awareness of the landscape issues and the environmental intervention in which different disciplines converge.

Some directly involved with the aesthetic and technical aspects of the intervention (landscaping, architecture, urbanism, etc.), others related to civil engineering, agriculture and forestry, and other in scientific training in the fields of environmental science or planning (geography, economics, law, etc.).

It is aimed to the intervention’s design and protection planning, but also to the transformation of natural and artificial landscapes. That is, the projection of parks and public spaces; the treatment of spaces that need to improve, protect and restore, specifically in the coastal and river areas, to the planning and management of the natural environment and environmental management when subject to changes that substantially alter use, and the new

agricultural and tourist areas.

It develops the basic material to enter the aesthetic design, but also social, technical and scientific. It provides the necessary knowledge for the evaluation and understanding of the environment.

Who should attend to the Master Program The Master is open to young professionals who show interest in landscape, in particular graduates in landscape, graduate students in the field of architecture, agronomy, geography, biology, engineering, etc.. and graduates interested in the intervention in the landscape.

Alternatively is also directed to professionals trained in technical careers that have followed their own profiles on training related to this field (study abroad, graduate courses ...) sensitized by the intervention in the landscape.

It is aimed to professionals, Spanish and foreign graduates, who want to upgrade, recycle, deepen or broaden their education in the fields of the design and landscape management problems. It facilitates their incorporation into interdisciplinary teams interested in this professional profile with related prior training.

Contents The program is developed through the participation of students in four

quarterly workshops: and three intensive workshops.

All of them promote the integration of the several previous studies.

This facilitates the formation of multidisciplinary teams, helps to create a common language of communication and facilitates the implementation of the knowledge presented in the theory and techniques lessons.

The workshops are led by faculty experts in the field of intervention (with recognized professional practice) and university researchers, which will correct and follow the student projects in practical classes by correction in a public or private way, that are carried out in school.

The required knowledge will be introduced in lectures and case studies presented by academics and professionals with recognized experience.

The workshops are related to real problems and presented in a particular social and economic context. The emphasis will therefore instrumental in the presentation of professional work required for the development of proposals (graphics tools, but also strategic planning, GIS, etc.), as vehicles of social communication for submitting proposals.

The program includes the realization of 250 internship hours in professional highly recognized national and international studios, as well as the presentation of an

individual investigation exercise as a Final Dissertation Project.

The five workshops can be taken modularly as postgraduate courses.

The courses are held four evenings a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The lessons are held by theoretical contents and workshop hours, with corrections by teachers.

It is important to remark that the development of the work will take additional time from the proper workshop hours. Tours and excursions related to the themes of each workshop are organized during the weekends; in addition, students will have to attend the parallel activities that are usually organized outside the schedule set by the program (lectures, excursions, etc.).

Taller I - curso de postgrado- 18 créditos

EL PROYECTO DEL ESPACIO PÚBLICO. INTRODUCCIÓN 18 ECTS (125 horas lectivas) A partir del conocimiento disciplinar de más de 150 años de modelos proyectuales relacionados con la historia moderna del espacio público y tras más de 25 años de experiencia docente sobre la temática más actual, este módulo del Master indaga desde una óptica contemporánea que trasciende las tipologías del “urban design” para incorporar nociones más globales y estratégicas sobre la esencia del espacio libre público.

El taller profundiza sobre las nuevas miradas desde el paisaje, la ecología o el arte hasta el desarrollo más profesional de proyectos que inciden en el detalle como virtud expresiva.

Afrontar no sólo proyectos urbanos, sino proyectos de nuestras periferias, litorales, riberas, reinventar paisajes o influir en las infraestructuras, son algunos de los objetivos del curso que plantea sus soluciones, como punto ineludible, desde el uso público.

Se busca desde la práctica dirigida y apoyada por un cuerpo teórico contrastado, así como la muestra de proyectos o actitudes propositivas ejemplares, el conocimiento técnico y la investigación de los nuevos campos

disciplinares, los instrumentos para una eficaz respuesta docente a los problemas planteados sobre el espacio libre.

Algunos ejercicios propuestos, a distintas escalas y basados en la interdisciplinariedad y transversalidad de conocimientos, así como en su internacionalidad, serían las actuaciones sobre estrategias urbanas, diseños de espacios libres, playas, litorales, membranas entre unidades paisajísticas, carreteras, recorridos, terrain vagues o, más genéricamente, lugares de oportunidad, entre otros.

Módulo A2 (el proyecto del espacio público II) 9 ECTS (60 horas lectivas)

Segundo módulo del Taller Espacio Público. Se realiza durante seis semanas, desde el jueves 2 de noviembre al martes 5 de diciembre de 2017, con clases jueves Materias teóricas relacionadas: Historia del y viernes de 15.30h a 20.30h.

Paisaje, Ecología, Técnicas de Jardinería, El estudio se centrará en el mismo tema, Sociología, Construcción y Servicios.

Con un aumento de escala y detalle y un cambio de sitios.

Módulo A1 (proyecto del espacio público I)

- Reconocer y analizar diferentes tipos de espacios públicos dentro de la ciudad, desde un enfoque contemporáneo.

- Capacitar habilidades para reconocer

los sistemas urbanos de infraestructura verde y aplicar estrategias de diseño para mejorar y cambiar el modelo urbano tradicional.

- Reconocer criterios de ecología urbana, urbanismo moderno y valores sociales.

Módulo A2 (el proyecto del espacio público II) - Abordar y definir el concepto de “Proyecto Urbano”.

- Adquirir criterios de significado y definición de detalles específicos en el Proyecto Urbano.

- Comprender e implementar técnicas, materiales y selección de elementos que componen el paisaje urbano contemporáneo.

- Aprender de trabajo en equipo interdisciplinario y confiar en los profesionales individuales de diferentes campos.

- Explorar el mercado con el fin de encontrar los productos específicos que coincidan con los objetivos del proyecto.

THE PROJECT OF PUBLIC SPACE. INTRODUCTION 18 ECTS (125 teaching hours)

From the disciplinary knowledge of more than 150 years of design models related with the modern history of public space and after 25 years of academic experience on present day issues related to landscape, the studio investigates free space, through a contemporary prism that goes beyond urban design typologies, in order to incorporate global notions and strategies about its essence.

The studio deepens in new visions starting from the point of view of landscape, ecology or art to the development of the project up to a professional level that considers detail construction as an expressive virtue.

The studio’s objective, which focuses results from the perspectiveof the public use, as an invitable strating point, is to deal not only with urban projects, but also with sites in the peripheries, with the sea and fluvial shores, to reinvent landscapes or to influence infrastructure projects.

Studio work persues tools for an efficient academic response to the issues set around free space through practice supported by a contrasted body of theory, as well as design presentations or that

of exemplar propositive attitudes and technical knowledge and research on new disciplinary fields.

The proposed exercises, can be design of urban strategies, unoccupied sites, the beach and coastline, membranes in between landscape units, highways, itineraries, terrain-vagues, or in general, places of “oportunity” to design. All the above focused from a interdisciplinary and transversal point of view and developed at the corresponding scales.

Studio A1 (project of public space I)

Tuesdays and Wednsdays from 15.30h to 20.30h.

The workshop will proposed a project on not-built spaces either inside or on the outskirts of the comtemporany city. We will work on three topics, such as cultural references, elements for the desing and analysis of spaces.

- Understand and implement techniques, materials and selection of elements that compose the urban contemporary landscape.

- Learn from interdisciplinary team work and rely on individual professionals from different fields.

- Explorer the market in order to find the specific products that match the project objectives.

Second module of the Workshop Public Space. It is held duriong six weeks, from Thursday November the 2th to Tuesday December the 5th 2017, with classes on Thursdays and Fridays from 15.30h to 20.30h.

The studio will focus on the same topic, With an increase of scale and detail and a changing of sites.

Taller II - curso de postgrado 18 créditos

LOS SISTEMAS DEL VERDE: DEL VERDE URBANO A LOS ESPACIOS NATURALES INTRODUCCIÓN 18 ECTS (125 horas lectivas) El programa docente del taller de los sistemas de la vegetación plantea una reflexión sobre los procesos que construyen los territorios, interpretados desde las diferentes formas del paisaje vegetal. Para ello se identifican distintas situaciones de estudio en las que proponemos intervenciones en el paisaje sobre la base de la proyectación de los procesos; en este sentido, hablamos, además de la vegetación, de calidades de suelo, de climatología, de hidrografía, etc., así como de dinámicas relacionadas con aspectos de construcción urbana y territorial, o de las transformaciones de los paisajes llamados naturales. Tomamos situaciones límites y características de las dinámicas naturales para reflexionar sobre la problemática de gestión de grandes territorios. Así, hablamos de perturbaciones, como por ejemplo los incendios forestales, para aprender a proyectar con el tiempo sobre espacios degradados, conduciéndonos esta reflexión, en ocasiones, a instrumentalizar una técnica, el control del fuego, que nos permite desarrollar proyectos de escala menor.. Planteamos nuevos usos del espacio, ajenos a las dinámicas 18

tradicionales e históricas de nuestros territorios, para pensar en la eficiencia ecológica de nuestros proyectos.

Reciclamos formas internas y externas al lugar, para introducir nuevos procesos en los que las condiciones ambientales de partida son la base fundamental para proyectar escenarios futuros.

En definitiva, “usamos” la vegetación como argumento que nos permite introducirnos en la reflexión global de los sistemas.

Módulo B2 (los sistemas del verde II) 9 ECTS (60 horas lectivas)

Segundo módulo del Taller Sistemas de Verde. Se celebra durante seis semanas del jueves 25 de enero al viernes 2 de marzo de 2018, con clases los jueves y Materias teóricas relacionadas: Ciencia del viernes de 15.30h a 20.30h.

Paisaje, Restauración del Paisaje, Edafología, En este segundo módulo los estudiantes Ecología, Fitogeografía, Impacto Ambiental, trabajan en el tema de “infraestructuras Técnicas de jardinería. verdes” para el mejoramiento de la conectividad de sistemas ecológicos y Módulo B1 (los sistemas del verde I) naturales en el territorio, cambiando el sitio 9 ECTS (60 horas lectivas) del proyecto, dentro del tema general del taller.

Se celebra durante seis semanas, desde el martes 9 de enero hasta el miércoles 14 de febrero de 2018, con Módulo B1 (los sistemas del verde I) clases martes y miércoles de 15.30h a - Identificar y estudiar procesos ecológicos 20.30h. en territorios afectados por disturbios Los estudiantes trabajan en el concepto (incendios, inundaciones, etc.). de “perturbaciones”, analizando y - Diseñar estrategias ecológicas para

restaurar paisajes perturbados.

- Reconocer los agentes de cambio que actúan en los paisajes e identificar las áreas potenciales dañadas por las perturbaciones.

- Diseñar sistemas integradores y multifuncionales de autoprotección de riesgo.

- Explorar el equilibrio de beneficios sociales entre los propietarios de bosques, la comunidad vecinal y las partes interesadas del paisaje.

Módulo B2 (los sistemas del verde II) - Identificar la Infraestructura Verde existente, evaluar su estado y evaluar sus potencialidades.

- Planificar y diseñar estrategias para fortalecer y mejorar la infraestructura verde existente. Además, considere sus capacidades evolutivas y su temporalidad.

- Reflexionar sobre los beneficios de la infraestructura verde sobre los servicios de infraestructura y medio ambiente tradicionales que proporcionan.

GREEN SYSTEMS: URBAN GREEN TO NATURAL SPACES

INTRODUCTION 18 ECTS (125 teaching hours)

The studio’ s curriculum related to vegetation systems suggests a new approach towards territorial processes from the perspective of vegetation. In order to do so, distinct case studies are identified which are developed at a design level with emphasis on natural processes; in this sense, besides vegetation, design focuses on soil quality, climate, hydrography, etc.; as well as on dynamics related to urban and regional aspects or, even, to transformation processes of landscapes, usually perceived as natural.

The studio deals with border situations and with the characteristics of natural dynamics in order to debate the project and management of large territories. Thus, we deal with the concept of disturbance, as for example, a fire in a forest, with the objective to work with process and time, when dealing with deteriorated sites; the project evolves, occasionally, to the development of techniques, such as fire control, which allows us to intervene at a design scale.

New uses are usually suggested, different from a traditional local development, as for example, golf courses, with the aim to think on the ecological efficiency of our

designs. While recycling contextual forms or introducing new, the introduction of non-existing processes takes place where local environmental conditions serve as a basis for the design of future scenarios.

We, actually, “use” vegetation as an argument in order to introduce the debate on the concept of systems.

Studio B1 (green systems I)

9 ECTS (60 teaching hours) First module of the Workshop Systems of Green. It is held during six weeks, from Tuesday January the 9th to Wednsday February the 14th 2018, with classes on Tuesdays and Wednsdays from 15.30h to 20.30h.

Taller III - curso de postgrado -18 créditos

EL PROYECTO DE LOS SISTEMAS DEL AGUA: LAS COSTAS, LOS RÍOS, LA AGRICULTURA INTRODUCCIÓN 18 ECTS (125 horas lectivas) Los sistemas litorales y los bordes de ríos y rieras, especialmente en regiones como el mediterráneo, forman parte de la temática más específica del paisajismo.

El proyecto de los paseos marítimos, los frentes fluviales, las zonas húmedas, etc., enfocado desde el tratamiento de mejora de espacios degradados, pasa siempre por profundizar en el conocimiento de las interferencias entre tierra y agua y, en consecuencia, en la vegetación, tanto desde el punto de la transformación como de la gestión y el mantenimiento. Se trata de entender los mecanismos del ciclo del agua, de ver los sistemas hídricos como forma de leer el territorio. El taller, que puede dividirse en dos módulos, se centra en el estudio de aquellos espacios en los que la escorrentía del territorio tiene un papel preponderante en el paisaje.

El trabajo en este tipo de territorios se lleva a cabo mediante un acercamiento a las disciplinas implicadas a través de un amplio número de conferencias que serán el bagaje para afrontar en el taller un proyecto tomado de una situación real. De este modo, los alumnos pueden percibir la gran complejidad de estos casos mediante el contacto con factores económicos, legales, sociales, ambientales, etc., que

concurren en este tipo de proyectos de paisaje. Materias teóricas relacionadas: teoría del paisaje, geología-hidrología, edafología, ecología, fitogeografía, planificación, gestión y legislación.

Módulo C1 (sistemas del agua I) 9 ECTS (60 horas lectivas) Primer módulo del Taller de Sistemas de Agua. Se realiza durante seis semanas del martes 6 de marzo al miércoles 18 de abril de 2018, con clases los días martes y miércoles de 15.30h a 20.30h.

En este módulo los estudiantes trabajan a gran escala, analizando la forma de proyecto en una escala de 1: 5000, llegando a trabajar a 1: 1000, siguiendo el tema general del taller.

Módulo C2 (sistemas del agua II) 9 ECTS (60 horas lectivas) Segundo módulo del Taller de Sistemas de Agua. Se realiza durante seis semanas del

jueves 22 de marzo al viernes 4 de abril de 2018, con clases de jueves a viernes de 15.30h a 20.30h.

A diferencia del primer módulo de este curso, los estudiantes trabajan a menor escala, desde 1:2000 hasta definir detalles a 1:50, siempre siguiendo el tema general del taller.

OBJETIVOS Módulo C1 (sistemas del agua I) - Analizar patrones y la relación entre el agua y los paisajes Planificar y diseñar proyectos regenerativos para paisajes degradados en presencia de agua - Reconocer y resolver problemas específicos sobre nuevos conceptos de paisaje de agua-frontera tales como litoral, costas, riberas, etc.

- Comprender la complejidad de los paisajes ribereños. Aprender técnicas de acción y control de los sistemas transversales de apropiación.

- Comprender cómo mantener y manejar los paisajes acuáticos.

- Comprender la complejidad del

metabolismo urbano, sus vulnerabilidades y oportunidades de diseño en relación con la dinámica fluvial.

- Analizar nuevas formas de movilidad y accesibilidad.

Investigación colonización y descolonización de un espacio: la efímera, espontánea e informal dinámica VS y procesos naturales.

Módulo C2 (sistemas del agua II) - Formación en actuación y diseño alrededor de paisajes ribereños y reconocer los diversos aspectos que conforman estos paisajes.

- Estudiar la casuística internacional, los nuevos modelos de trabajo y las técnicas de diseño.

WATER SYSTEMS PROJETC: SEASHORES, RIVERS, RURAL AREAS INTRODUCTION 18 ECTS (125 teaching hours)

Litoral systems, fluvial borders and streams are one of the most specific issues that landscape architecture addresses, especially, in regions as the Mediterranean one. In order to design seafronts, riverfronts, marshlands, etc., approached from the perspective of the improvement of deteriorated spaces, one has, always, to deepen into the knowledge of the contact between land and water, and as a consequence, with vegetation, dealing with the issues of transformation, management and maintenance. The aim is to understand the water cycle and its mechanisms, to look at hydric systems as a way to read the territory. The studio is dedicated to the work on spaces where the land drainage has a dominant role in the shape and processes that constitute the landscape. Working in those places makes necessary an approach from the view of the several disciplines concerned in this design field through conferences given by a wide range of specialists. This theoretic background allows students to face real situations in the projects developed. In that way, the students can perceive the great complexity of economic,

legal, social or environmental criteria of this Systems. It is held during six weeks from kind of landscape situations.

Thursday March the 22th to Friday April the 4th 2018, with classes on Thursdays Related theoretical subjects: Landscape Theory, and Fridays from 15.30h to 20.30h.

In this module the students work on a large scale, analyzing the project enviorment form a scale of 1:5000, coming to work to 1:1000, following the general theme of the workshop.

- Understand complexity of urban metabolism, its vulnerabilities and design opportunities in relation with fluvial dynamics.

- Analyze new ways of mobility and accessibility.

- Research colonization and decolonization of a space: the ephemeral, spontaneous and informal VS dynamics and natural processes.

NUEVOS USOS PARA ANTIGUOS TERRITORIOS: EL TURISMO INTRODUCCIÓN 18 ECTS (125 horas lectivas) El taller trata el turismo dada su importancia creciente como sector de la economía, pero, sobre todo, por su inevitable relación con el paisaje. Por definición, no existe turismo sin un paisaje asociado, existente o inventado. El turismo masivo, especialmente el de sol y playa, se ha relacionado con frecuencia con la especulación y la explotación de los recursos; la reciente concienciación sobre su gestión sostenible y la emergente sensibilidad por el paisaje va erosionando, progresivamente, los tópicos sobre esta actividad, haciendo patente la necesidad de inventar modelos alternativos de gestión territorial, asignando al turismo el papel de revalorizador de entornos deteriorados. El taller se estructura a partir de tres áreas de trabajo e investigación que se desarrollan en paralelo: profundizar en el conocimiento del turismo como fenómeno complejo de ocupación de suelo e industria de servicios a través de conferencias de especialistas en el tema; sistematizar el estudio del paisaje recurriendo a los métodos convencionales de análisis de paisaje y a otros propios, adecuados para la generación de nuevas cartografías con el uso de los Sistemas de Información Geográfica; y, finalmente, explorar 26

desde el proyecto los instrumentos de planificación y gestión, ensayando tejidos alternativos y productos turísticos innovadores. Se sugiere una revisión crítica de aspectos de planeamiento de paisaje a través del trabajo multi-escalar del proyecto y se exploran los procesos de la construcción de la imagen de las zonas turísticas utilizando como instrumento la ecología de paisaje, la geografía cultural, la teoría de paisaje y la de percepción.

El taller se desarrolla en un territorio híbrido donde se implementa la estrategia de mejora a través del turismo, como herramienta de actividad económica y transformación.

TOURISM: NEW USES FOR OLD TERRITORIES INTRODUCTION 18 ECTS (125 teaching hours)

The studio deals with tourism due to its growing importance as an economic sector and to its inevitable relationship to landscape. There is no tourism, by definition, without an associated, existing or invented, landscape. Tourism as a mass activity, especially the one related to seaside developments, has often been related to speculation and exploitation of natural resources; recent awareness on sustainable management as well as, the emerging sensibility towards landscape, erodes, progressively, topics on tourism, underlying the necessity to invent alternative management strategies for the landscape, by using tourism as a vehicle for the re-evaluation of deteriorated environments. The studio develops three different work and research lines that develop in parallel: knowledge on tourism as a complex phenomenon of land development and a service industry through lectures by experts, a systematic study of landscape using both conventional methods of landscape analysis and new ones, appropriate for generating new cartographies using Geographic Information Systems and, finally, explore

CURSO INTERNACIONAL INTENSIVO III: REHACER PAISAJES

INTRODUCCIÓN 6 ECTS (100 horas lectivas) Profesor visitante Con la colaboración de otra Universidad de paisaje.

Dentro de los estudios de maestría, al final del primer año académico, se realiza un taller intensivo de 100 horas lectivas con el objetivo de ofrecer a los estudiantes la experiencia de trabajar intensamente con personalidades reconocidas y / o figuras emergentes a nivel internacional en el ámbito de La educación del paisaje y la práctica profesional. Los profesores invitados sugieren sus propias metodologías y enfoques personales, así que suelen proponer el tema del estudio.

Los temas del paisaje contemporáneo, como el espacio público al borde de la metrópoli mediterránea, o una combinación de uso urbano y turístico de paisajes específicos, como la costa, se discuten bajo una perspectiva más amplia.

Se celebra durante dos semanas cada julio del lunes 16 al viernes 27 de 2018, con clases de lunes a viernes de 9.30h a 13.30h y 15.30h a 20.30h.

Tiene como objetivo proporcionar a los

estudiantes de maestría la oportunidad de trabajar con figuras reconocidas y emergentes en el campo del paisaje, tanto académicos como profesionales de todo el mundo. Se invita a los profesores a proponer, desde un enfoque personal, sus temas y metodologías. Los temas trabajados se discuten bajo una amplia perspectiva (planificación de proyectos, análisis, diagnóstico) y están presentes en la realidad paisajística: el proyecto de espacio público dentro de los límites de la metrópoli mediterránea, la introducción de usos urbanos o turísticos en paisajes específicos, como la costa, etc.

Within the master’s studios, in the end of the first academic year, a 100 lective hours intensive workshop takes place with the aim to offer to students the experience to work intensely with recognised personalities or/and emerging figures at an international level in the field of landscape education and professional practice.

Guest professors suggest their own methodologies and personal approaches as well they usually propose the studio’s theme. Contemporary landscape topics such as public space at the edge of the mediterranean metropolis, or a combination of urban and tourist use of specific landscapes, such as the coast, are discussed under a broader perspective.

10/14 Basílica Santa María del Mar Estilo: Gótico Catalán / Gótico Flamígero Siglos: XIV / XVI / XX Existe la hipótesis de que fue construida sobre un antiguo anfiteatro o arenas romana, esta iglesia se llevó acabo en el siglo XIV. Ha sufrido modificaciones debido al terremoto de 1428 que causó el derrumbamiento del rosetón que se reconstruyó en estilo Gótico flamígero, en 1936 sufrió un incendio provocado por los anarquistas y comunistas que asaltaron el templo contemplando su última restauración.

1/14 Monasterio de Santa Ana Estilo: Románico / Gótico Catalán Siglos: XII / XV / XX Actualmente se conserva la estructura románica original del templo, con ábside cuadrado y planta de cruz, cubiertos con una vuelta de cañón apuntada del siglo XIII. La portada de estilo gótico es original del año 1300. En el siglo XIV se alargó la nave que ya se cubrió con vuelta gótica de crucería y en el siglo XV se construyó el cimborrio, el cual tuvo que ser reconstruido tras la Guerra civil.

2/14 Atarazanas Reales Estilo: Románico / Gótico Civil Siglos: XIII / XIV / XVIII / XX Conjunto arquitectónico civil gótico situado en la fachada marítima de la ciudad y que se comenzó a construir a finales del siglo XIII, durante el reinado de Pedro III de Aragón, incorporando trozos de la muralla medieval, el edificio ha sufrido múltiples modificaciones en el tiempo.

3/14 Catedral SantaCruz/Santa Eulalia Estilo: Románico/ Gótico Catalán / Neogótico Siglos: XI / XIV / XX Se iniciaron las obras no se plantearon como la construcción de una nueva catedral sino como una reforma y ampliación de la catedral románica; con motivo de la Exposición Universal de Barcelona (1888) se convocó el concurso para la edificación de la fachada en el año 1882, estableciendo como criterio estilístico a seguir “el gótico”, con resultado de la fachada Neogótica actual.

4/14 Casa Dels Canonges Estilo: Gótico / Neogótico Siglos: XIV / XX La casa servía de residencia de los canónigos regulares de la Catedral a partir del siglo XIV. El conjunto fue extensamente restaurado y reformado durante 1920 por los arquitectos Joan Rubió i Bellver y posteriormente por Jeroni Martorell, adhiriendo elementos neogóticos a las partes recuperadas de la obra original, como el puente del Obispo.

13/14 Basílica Sant Just i Pastor Estilo: Románico / Gótico / Neogótico Siglos: X / XVI / XVI / XX La tradición la hace remontar al siglo IV, pero está documentada desde el IX –X cuando el rey franco Luis el Piadoso impulsó la reconstrucción. La iglesia gótica que podemos ver hoy se comenzó en el siglo XIV, esta se construyó sobre la antigua iglesia románica, siendo el último de los grandes templos góticos de Barcelona.

11/14 Casa de l´Ardiaca Estilo: Románico / Renacentista / Gótico / Neogótico Siglos: XII / XVI / XX Aquí vivía la jerarquía eclesiástica de los Arcedianos desde el siglo XII. Se han sucedido múltiples reformas en el edificio desde entonces, siendo la más importante la realizada por Lluís Desplà i d'Oms en el siglo XVI que convirtió la Casa en un Palacete de estructura gótica con portada de decoración Renacentista, En el XX Lluís Doménech i Montaner hizo las últimas refacciones de decoración Neogóticas.

12/14 Hospital de la Santa Cruz Estilo: Gótico Catalán Siglos: XV / XVI / XX Edificio Gótico del siglo XV, que se creó para reunir los diferentes hospitales que existían en la ciudad. Sufrió varias reformas entre los siglos XVI-XVIII, Ya en 1926 el viejo edificio fue adquirido por el Ayuntamiento, el cual inició su reconstrucción. Actualmente el conjunto incluye la sede de la Biblioteca de Cataluña, el Instituto de Estudios Catalanes, la Escuela Massana y dos bibliotecas públicas.

7/14 Plaza del Rey / Palacio Real Estilo:Románico / Gótico Catalán / Neogótico Siglos: XI / XIV / XIX / XX El Palacio Real Mayor de Barcelona se encuentra situado en el centro del barrio gótico de la ciudad, en la plaza del Rey. Constituía la residencia de los condes de Barcelona y má más tarde de los reyes de la Corona de Aragón. Se const construyeron en estilo Románicos del siglo XI, y luego en fuero fueron tomando forma los elementos góticos, Rena Renacentistas y finalmente Neogótico en el XX.

14/14 Plaza Felipe Neri Estilo: Románico / Renacentista / Barroco / Neogótico Siglos: XVI / XVIII / XX La plaza se posa sobre el antiguo cementerio medieval de Montjuic del Obispo destruido durante la Guerra Civil 1938. La plaza está rodeada de casas de estilo renacentista, con su Iglesia principal Barroca. La reconstrucción en el XX adaptó las fachadas a partir de elementos de los antiguos edificios destruidos.

Finalmente se han agregado elementos neogóticos como la fuente central.

Architecture Europe - LAE, que articulan la transferencia de conocimiento, ayudarán a dirigir este seminario teórico que aborda la investigación y la evolución crítica de la disciplina.

OBJETIVO

Proyectos de Paisajes Contemporáneos Critique persigue explorar los mecanismos de análisis, investigación y reflexión crítica sobre proyectos paisajísticos contemporáneos.

En los últimos tiempos, es común que la Teoría de la Arquitectura del Paisaje haya sido buscada a través del trabajo de autores particulares. La tarea de comprender los proyectos, de conseguir el alcance de las propuestas, del estilo contemporáneo de ciertas tendencias del paisaje será el fundamento teórico sobre el cual la discusión y la reflexión crecerán.

El inmenso archivo de proyectos que se reunirán a lo largo de 20 años de la Bienal Internacional de Arquitectura Paisajista de Barcelona será el terreno práctico desde el que se desarrollará el seminario.

En la primera parte del curso, los estudiantes realizarán un período de prácticas de 250 horas en estudios nacionales o internacionales de reconocido prestigio, contando con un convenio de colaboración con el Master. Un tutor profesional se asignará a cada estudiante y lo acogerá en la empresa supervisando sus progresos.

In the first part of this course, students will undergo an immersion period of 250 hours of work experience in some international or national landscape offices where we have a collaboration agreement. A professional tutor will be assigned to each student and welcome him or her and supervise his or her progress in the workplace.

Trabajo Final de Master - 20 ECTS Los estudiantes deberán llevar a cabo un proyecto de investigación o tesis de naturaleza crítica que muestre una visión holística del conocimiento asimilado durante el master y basado específicamente en el conocimiento adquirido durante el periodo de prácticas.

Objetivos: - Entrar en el mundo laboral y desarrollar habilidades profesionales específicas relacionadas con el diseño de proyectos llevados a cabo en estudios profesionales.

- Reflexionar críticamente sobre la práctica profesional y sobre el trabajo realizado durante el período de prácticas con el objetivo de producir una razonamiento de investigación crítico y personal, que holísticamente comprenda el conocimiento asimilado durante todo el Master.

- Ordenar y estructurar el conocimiento con el objetivo de construir un nuevo modo de investigar basado en la reflexión y la práctica.

Final dissertation - 20 ECTS Students will have to produce a research project or thesis of a critical nature and showing a holistic vision concerning all the knowledge assimilated throughout the master and specifically based on the knowledge acquired during the work experience stage.

Finally, an oral presentation of their work with digital/visual supports will be evaluated in front of a panel of three or more experts.

Objectives – Join a work environment and develop specific professional skills related to ongoing designed projects in professional studios.

– Critically reflect on the professional practice and on the work accomplished during the internship in order to produce a personal, critical and research dissertation that holistically comprises the guise of knowledge assimilated during the whole Master.

– Arrange and structure knowledge in order to build a new research mode based on reflection and practice.

SARA BARTUMEUS

Arquitecta per la ETSAB i màster en Arquitectura del Paisatge (UPC).

Inicia la seva activitat docent i investigadora al Departament d’Urbanisme i Ordenació del Territori (ETSAB) al 1994. Investigadora del LUB (Laboratori d’Urbanisme de Barcelona) fins el 2004. Professora de Projectes a la Titulació de Paisatgisme del 1999 al 2003 i del Master d’Arquitectura del Paisatge des del 1997 (ETSAB-UPC).

Des del 2004 és també professora de Projectes Urbans al Departament d’Urbanisme i Ordenació del Territori a l’ETSAV. Actualment és membre de la Comissió d’Arquitectura de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona i del Consell Assessor de l’Oficina de Paisatge del COAC. Associada amb Anna Renau des del 1994 desenvolupa la seva activitat professional realitzant projectes de planejament, d’arquitectura del paisatge i d’edificació, alguns dels quals han estat publicats en revistes especialitzades i reconeguts en diversos premis. Enguany, en el marc de l’any Cerdà, ha realitzat el disseny del muntatge de l’exposició “Cerdà i la Barcelona del futur. Realitat versus projecte” al CCCB.

Algunos de ellos se han publicado en revistas especializadas y se han visto reconocidos en diversos premios. Recientemente, en el marco del Año Cerdà, han realizado el diseño del montaje de la exposición “Cerdà y la Barcelona del futuro. Realidad versus proyecto” en el CCCB.

Architect at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) with a Master’s in Landscape Architecture (UPC).

She began her teaching and research activity in 1994 in the Department of Urbanism and Territorial Planning (ETSAB).

Researcher for the Barcelona Urbanism Laboratory (LUB) until 2004. Professor of landscape projects on the Landscape Architecture degree from 1999 to 2003 and professor in the Master’s Program in Landscape Architecture since 1997 (ETSAB-UPC). She is also a professor of Urban Projects in the Department of Urbanism and Territorial Planning at the ETSAV. Currently is a member of the Barcelona City Council’s Architecture Committee and of the COAC’s Advisory Committee in Urban Planning and Landscape.

In association with Anna Renau, since 1994, her professional activity has involved planning, landscape architecture and architecture projects, specially social housing and public facilities, some of which have won awards and appeared in specialized journals. Recently, within the framework of the Year Cerdà, they have designed the exhibition entitled “Cerdà and the Barcelona of the future. Reality versus design” at the CCCB.

Màster en Arquitectura del Paisatge (UPC 2007), actualment està cursant el Màster Universitari en Urbanisme (doctorat) en la ETSAB. Des de 2000 combina el seu treball com a professional autònoma col•laborant amb diferents arquitectes i paisatgistes en projectes com D.O. Arquitecte a l’ETSAB de Barcelona, any 1980. Des del 1982 és professor del Departament d’Urbanisme i Ordenació del Territori (UPC). Des del 1987 és professor del Màster d’Arquitectura del Paisatge de la UPC, i des del 2000 n’és el director. Des de l’any 1997 fins al 2006 va ser subdirector de l’ETSAB, i del 2000 al 2006 va ser director del Graduat Superior en Paisatgisme de la UPC. Forma part del comitè científic de les revistes especialitzades Paisajismo, Architettura del Paesaggio, Paisea, Korezero i Paysage. El 2008 va ser membre del comitè científic d’EUREAU’08, de Paisajes 08 i d’Expopaisajes 2014. Des del 1999 organitza la Biennal Europea de Paisatge de Barcelona (6 edicions).

L’any 2005 forma el despatx SCOB arquitectura i paisatge amb Sergi Carulla, el treball del qual està dedicat principalment al desenvolupament de projectes d’espai públic i paisatge. Ha obtingut premis en diferents concursos d’arquitectura i paisatge, com el 1er Concurs de Paisatgisme Santa & Cole de la Biennal Europea de Paisatge. El seu treball ha estat exposat en les cinc darreres edicions d’aquesta biennal i està publicat en diverses revistes especialitzades. És professor en el Màster d’Arquitectura del Paisatge de l’Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona i ha estat professor convidat de la Università di Roma ‘La Sapienza’.

He has worked as an architect specialized in urban and landscape projects in various public administrations.

In 2005 he founded the SCOB Landscape and Architecture with Sergi Carulla, whose work is mainly devoted to the development of public space and landscape projects. He has won several architecture and landscape architecture prizes and competitions, as the Barcelona Provincial Council Award 2006 in the category of Exterior Spaces and the 1st contest of Santa & Cole Landscape for the European Biennial of Landscape Architecture. His work has been exhibited in the last five editions of the European Biennial of Landscape Architecture and has been published in various specialized journals.

He is assistant professor in the Master programme of Landscape Architecture at the School of Architecture of Barcelona and he has been a visiting professor at the ‘La Sapienza’ University in Rome .

ANNA BONET

Anna Bonet és arquitecte per l’Escola Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (2011) i va cursar el màster d’Arquitectura del Paisatge a l’UPC (2006). Ha col·laborat com a arquitecte paisatgista durant set anys amb l’estudi Ruisánchez Arquitectes com a cap d’equip desenvolupant projectes de paisatge i disseny de mobiliari urbà.

Ha format part de l’equip redactor que va guanyar el primer premi del concurs internacional per al Masterplan de la costa de Salerno a Itàlia (2009), finalista del concurs del Parc Lineal de la Sagrera a Barcelona (2011) i finalista del concurs les Portes de Barcelona (2012). Va desenvolupar amb Manuel Ruisánchez el projecte del Parc del riu Güell de Vilablareix a Girona que va ser finalista de la sisena Biennal Europea de Paisatge de Barcelona.

Actualment compagina la seva activitat com freelance amb la pràctica docent com a professora assistent del màster d’Arquitectura del Paisatge de la UPC i el màster de Jardineria i Paisatgisme de la UPV.

Actualmente compagina su actividad como freelance con la práctica docente como profesora asistente en el máster de Arquitectura del Paisaje de la UPC y el máster de Jardinería y Paisajismo de la UPV.

Anna Bonet has a degree in architecture from the Barcelona School of Architecture (2001) and has a Master in Landscape Architecture from UPC (2006). AGATA BUSCEMI

Arquitecta per l’Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Reggio Calàbria (Itàlia), es trasllada a Barcelona, després d’una breu experiència professional a Itàlia, per col·laborar amb el despatx de Jordi Bellmunt i Xavier Andreu com a responsable de projectes (2002-2005), cap de projectes (2005-2008), convertint-se en sòcia de la nova societat limitada professional a finals de 2008. Des de 2003 col·labora puntualment com a docent a l’ETSAB (Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona).

Arquitecta por la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Reggio Calabria (Italia), se traslada a Barcelona, tras una breve experiencia profesional en Italia, para colaborar con el despacho de Jordi Bellmunt y Xavier Andreu como responsable de proyectos (20022005), jefe de proyectos (20052008), convirtiéndose en socia de la nueva sociedad limitada profesional a finales de 2008. Desde 2003 colabora puntualmente como docente en la ETSAB (Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona).

Actualment realitza el programa de Doctorat del Departament d’Urbanisme de la mateixa escola. Ha treballat com arquitecte especialista en projectes urbans i paisatge en diverses administracions públiques durant més de deu anys.

L’any 2005 forma el despatx SCOB arquitectura i paisatge amb Oscar Blasco, el treball del qual està dedicat principalment al desenvolupament de projectes d’espai públic i paisatge. Ha obtingut premis en diferents concursos d’arquitectura i paisatge, com el premi Diputació de Barcelona 2006 a la categoria d’espais exteriors i el 1er Concurs de Paisatgisme Santa & Cole de la Biennal Europea de Paisatge. Su trabajo ha sido expuesto en las cinco últimas ediciones de esta bienal y está publicado en diversas revistas especializadas.

Es profesor en el Master de Arquitectura del Paisaje, colabora como profesor en la cátedra de Urbanismo de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona y ha sido profesor invitado de la Università di Roma ‘La Sapienza’.

He has worked as an architect specialized in urban and landscape projects in various public administrations for over ten years.

In 2005 he founded the SCOB Landscape and Architecture with Oscar Blasco, whose work is mainly devoted to the development of public space and landscape projects. He has won several architecture and landscape architecture prizes and competitions, as the Barcelona Provincial Council Award 2006 in the category of Exterior Spaces and the 1st contest of Santa & Cole Landscape for the European Biennial of Landscape Architecture. His work has been exhibited in the last five editions of the European Biennial of Landscape Architecture and has been published in various specialized journals.

He is assistant professor in the Master programme of Landscape Architecture at the School of Architecture of Barcelona and he has been a visiting professor at the ‘La Sapienza’ University in Rome .

Graduat a la IUAV de Venècia, on actualment desenvolupa activitats com investigador. També és especialista en el “Master Course of Urbanism of cities: periphery as a project”, a la ETSAB de Barcelona. De 2005 a 2013 va ser professor de la especialitat de Paisatge a la IUAV, i des de 2009 ha sigut professor convidat del Master d’Arquitectura del Paisatge (UPC, Barcelona).

Al 1995 començà la seva activitat professional, i al 2006 fundà CZstudio Associati amb Laura Zampieri.

Junts creen projectes i duen a terme investigacions sobre arquitectura i paisatge, relacionats amb l’urbanisme, els medis complexes, la mobilitat, les infraestructures i els parcs públics i privats. També participen en concursos d’arquitectura i han rebut diversos premis, incloent l’Honour Architectural Award, AIA_NY Chapter en 2013 pel projecte Jesolo Lido Condominium Building (amb Richard Meier & Partners) i el Premi Provincial de la Bienal Internacional promoguda per la Barbara Cappochin Constitution pels espais públics de l’estació de tren de Pàdova. També va estar finalista al 2012 de la “Medaglia d’Oro per l’Architettura Italiana” i en 2008 a la V edició del Premi Europeu de Paisatge “Rosa Barba”.

También fueron finalistas en el 2012 del Premio “Medaglia d’Oro per l’Architettura Italiana” y en 2008 en la V edición del Premio Europeo de Paisaje “Rosa Barba”.

He graduated at the IUAV in Venice, where he currently carries out research work. Since 1995 Ceccon has been working as a professional and in 2006 he founded CZstudio Associati with Laura Zampieri.

They both create projects and carry out research on architecture and landscape relevant to urban spaces, complex environments, mobility infrastructures, and public and private parks. They also participate in architectural competitions and have received many awards including Honour Architectural Award, AIA_NY Chapter in 2013 for the project of the Jesolo Lido Condominium Building (with Richard Meier and Partners) and the Provincial Prize of the International Biennial of Architecture promoted by the Barbara Cappochin Constitution for the public spaces of the train station in Padua. Ha treballat a Ateliers Jean Nouvel (París), Centre de Recerca de Projectes de Paisatge (UPC) i puntualment com a professora adjunta en el Màster de Arquitectura del Paisatge i el MUP de la E.T.S.A.B, Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya.

Actualment combina els encàrrecs com a professional independent amb l’Oficina de Paisatge del Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya des d’on coordina la 6ª Biennal Europea de Paisatge i l’edició del catàleg de la 5º Biennal “Storm & Stress”.

Membre de l’Associació Espanyola de paisatgistes, és escollida des de novembre de 2009 com a secretària general de la Comissió Executiva de l’EFLA (European Foundation of Landscape Architecture).

Ha trabajado en Ateliers Jean Nouvel (París), Centro de Investigación de Proyectos de Paisaje (UPC) i puntualmente como profesora adjunta en el master de Arquitectura del MUP de la E.T.S.A.B, Fundación Politécnica de Cataluña.

Llicenciat l’any 2005 a l’Escola d’Arquitectura de València, durant els anys 2006-2008 cursa els estudis del Màster d’Arquitectura del Paisatge de la Fundació UPC. Durant el curs 20102011 assisteix com a professor al mateix màster dintre del Taller del Sistemes del Verd. L’activitat professional comença durant el 2004-2005 amb les pràctiques d’empresa desenvolupades al despatx de Ximo Sanchis a València. Durant l’any 2006, ja llicenciat, comença l’activitat laboral col·laborant a l’estudi de Beatriz Cubells. Després es trasllada a Barcelona on en Novembre del 2006 comença a col·laborar a l’estudi de Ruisanchez Arquitectes, on ingressa en el grup de Paisatge on desenvolupa com a director de projectes operacions complexes de tota mena. A destacar de la trajectòria a Ruisanchez Arquitectes son els projectes i direccions d’obra de l’Adequació del Parc de la Fontsanta, 17Ha de parc urbà i infraestructures a Sant Joan Despí; la Requalificació del Front Marítim de Salerno, 7km de front urbà a la ciutat de Salerno; l’Avanç de Planejament del Sector Nord de Vilanova i la Geltrú, planejament en fase de redacció per a 100Ha de territori, durant el 2009-2011. Arquitecta grega que des del 1992 viu i treballa a Barcelona. En l’actualitat es dedica a temps complet al seu treball com a professora al Departament d’Urbanisme i Ordenació territorial, DUOT, a l’ETSAB, ensenyant urbanisme i paisatge i és la directora del Màster d’Arquitectura del Paisatge (adaptat al marc de l’acord de Bolonya) des del març de 2009. Participa en la direcció del Centre de Recerca i Projectes de Paisatge de Barcelona, CRPPB, del qual va ser una de les fundadores el 1994.

Entre els seus treballs recents destaca l’elaboració del catàleg dels paisatges de les regions de Lleida i de Girona, tots dos per encàrrec de l’Observatori del Paisatge de Catalunya. Com a consultora científica col·labora en el projecte d’investigació “Greek Scapes” per a la interpretació dels paisatges grecs (un projecte d’investigació creat per la fundació Latsis, Grècia), i és membre de l’equip (dirigit per A. Zahonero, M. van Gessel, A. Vidaor) que va guanyar el concurs del corredor verd a Cerdanyola, a l’octubre de 2009.

En el transcurs del mateix any la seva tesina “Els altres paisatges; lectures de la imatge variable” va merèixer la qualificació de Premi Extrordinari.

Arquitecta griega que desde 1992 vive y trabaja en Barcelona. En la actualidad se dedica a tiempo completo a su trabajo como profesora en el Departamento de Urbanismo y Ordenación Territorial, DUOT, en la ETSAB, enseñando urbanismo y paisaje y es la directora del Máster de Arquitectura del Paisaje (adaptado al marco del acuerdo de Bolonia) desde marzo de 2009. Architect and Master in landscape architecture. Since Febrary 2012 she created her own firm specialized on landscape projects and housing. www. pepamoran.com At the same time she is developing her PhD thesis project: MORPHOLOGIES OF CHANGE, the representation of processes in landscape projects.

Since 2005 she works as assistant teacher in the Master of Landscape Architecture in the Public University of Catalunya (UPC).

From 2007 to 2012 she joint the RIVER LLOBREGAT TEAM in the Association of Municipalities of the metropolitan Area of Barcelona www.amb.cat , working as a landscape architect and developing projects and research in the Llobregat River and its metropolitan Area.

She has been working as external collaborator for the following offices of landscape architecture: MANUEL RUISÁNCHEZ arquitectes S.L, ANNA ZAHONERO (az) Estudis i Projectes de mediambient i paisatge s.l. and MARTÍ FRANCH studio.

PATRICIA PÉREZ

Nascuda a Madrid el 12 de febrer del 1971, és llicenciada en “Landschaftsplanung und Landschaftsgestaltung” (Planificació i Disseny del Paisatge) per l’ Universitat BOKU de Viena. (1995)i ha fet el Màster d’Arquitectura del Paisatge per l’ ETSAB. UPC (1997) Ha estat membre del Centre de Recerca i Projectes de Paisatge, de la UPC. (1997-2000) Des de el 2001 és Cap de la Unitat de Paisatgisme de la Diputació de Barcelona.

Ha col·laborat com a docent al MAP i al MUP de la UPC, al Master d’Architettura Paesaggio ACMA Milan, al Postgrau d’Ordenació Territorial i Arquitectura de Muntanya de la Fundació UPC, a la Universitat de Ferrara i a la Escola Elisava.

(Barcelona, 1946) és doctor arquitecte per l’Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (UPC) i catedràtic d’Urbanisme i Ordenació del territori a l’Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura del Vallès (UPC). També ha estat director d’aquesta escola (1999-2002). Entre 2005 i 2008 va ser fundador i primer director de la nova Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Màlaga (EAM). Fou president de la Societat Catalana d’Ordenació del Territori (SCOT), societat filial de l’Institut d’Estudis Catalans (IEC), des de 1993 fins a 2002, i patró de la Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya entre 2002 i 2007. Va ocupar el càrrec de director de Serveis de Planejament i Gestió Urbanística de l’ajuntament de Barcelona entre els anys 1989 i 1992, en el periode preolímpic. Redactor del Pla general metropolità de Barcelona (1974-1976) i de diferents plans al llarg del territori català i espanyol, l’any 2003 va ser guardonat amb el Premi Catalunya d’Urbanisme per la redacció de la Revisió del Pla general municipal d’ordenació urbana de Torroella de Montgrí. (Barcelona, 1946) received the Ph.D. in Architecture from the School of Architecture of Barcelona (UPC). He is Full Professor of Urbanism and Regional Planning at the School of Architecture of the Vallès (UPC). He was also director of this School (1999-2002). From 2005 to 2008 he was the first Director of the new School of Architecture of Malaga (EAM). He was president of the Catalan Regional Planning Society (SCOT) from 1993 to 2002 and was a member of the Polytechnics Foundation Board of Trustees from 2002 to 2007. He served as Head of Urban Planning Services and Management for the Barcelona City Council in the preparations for the Barcelona Olympics (1989-1992). He is member of different local organizations concerning town planning, tourism and landscape. He was one of the authors of the General Metropolitan Plan of Barcelona (PGM) from 1974 to 1976, among other Master Plans all over Spain.

In the year 2003, he was awarded the Catalonian Town Planning Prize, for the Revision of the Master Plan of Torroella de Montgrí. He has published diverse books on town planning, tourism and landscape as well as many articles on these subjects in Urbanismo, Lotus International, Geometría, Papers, Urban and Quaderns. He has lead with Josep M. Vilanova the Territorial Sectorial Housing Plan for the Housing Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Arquitecte, urbanista i paisatgista, és membre del Departament d’Urbanisme i Ordenació del Territori del la UPC, professor d’Arquitectura del Paisatge a la ETSAV (1982-92), professor del Màster de Paisatge de la UPC des de 1991 i professor d’Urbanisme de la ETSAB des de 1992. Ha estat professor convidat a la Universitat de Washington en St. Louis, GSD Harvard University i a la facultat d’Arquitectura de Venècia, IUAV. Actualment és Membre del Consell Executiu del Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC), membre del Consell Asesor d’Art Públic de Barcelona, membre del LUB (Laboratori d’Urbanisme de Barcelona) i AxA. Arquitecte per l’ETSAB, UPC, on és professor des de 1990 d’Urbanística i d’Història del Paisatge. Professor del Postgrau de Jardineria de l’Escola d’Agricultura de Barcelona, UPC i del Graduat Superior en Paisatgisme de l’ETSAB, ara màster oficial. Alumne i professor del curs de Postgrau d’Arquitectura del Paisatge de l’ETSAB. Professor des de 2007 de Projectes i Urbanisme de l’Escola d’Arquitectura de Reus, URV. Ha estat vocal de Cultura del Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya des de 2003 fins a 2006, i en aquesta condició, membre de la comissió executiva de la III i IV Biennal Europea del Paisatge de Barcelona. En el seu estudi treballa projectes de paisatge, urbanisme i arquitectura.

Arquitecto por la ETSAB, UPC, donde es profesor desde 1990 de Urbanística y de Historia del Paisaje. Profesor del Postgrado de Jardinería de la Escuela de Agricultura de Barcelona, UPC y del Graduado Superior en Paisajismo de la ETSAB, ahora máster oficial. Was born in Reus in 1951. He studied at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB). Since 2003 he has been board member for Culture, Training and Publications of the Architectural Association (COAC) and COAC representative on the Executive of the European Landscape Biennial. He gives lectures in the Department of Urban and Territorial Planning of the UPC, on the courses in Urban Planning and History of Landscape, and in the Master’s Degree course workshops on Landscape Architecture (ETSAB). He has also been a lecturer on the postgraduate course on Gardening (Barcelona School of Agricolture) and in Projectsin the graduate course on Landscape Design.

IOANNA SPANOU

Arquitecta, doctoranda ETSAB, DUOT, UPC. Estudia arquitectura a la Universitat Politècnica d’Atenes on també cursa el Màster: Disseny Arquitectònic -Espai-Cultura. En 2002 arriba a Barcelona per cursar el Màster d’Arquitectura de Paisatge (MAP, UPC, 2004). Des de llavors combina l’activitat acadèmica i professional. Col·labora amb el despatx Biaarq arquitectes, amb el Centre de Recerca i Projectes de Paisatge (CRPPb, UPC) i amb (az) estudis i projectes de medi ambient i de paisatge, mentre contínua els seus estudis amb el Màster de Recerca en Urbanisme (UPC 2008). En 2010 funda el despatx azimutlandscape amb Margherita Neri i Evgenia Hatzistavrou.

Entre les seves obres destacades: 1er premi en el concurs internacional d’idees per al parc “Ca Escandell” a Eivissa, amb Margherita Neri i Anna Zahonero i la col·laboració en el concurs, el projecte i l’execució del “Corredor Verd de Cerdanyola”. Des de 2006 és professora assistent en el taller: “Nous usos per a antics territoris”, del MAP, i de l’assignatura : Anàlisi de Paisatge del Màster Universitari en Paisatgisme.

Colabora con el despacho Biaarq arquitectes, el Centre de Recerca i Projectes de Paisatge (CRPPb, UPC) y con (az) estudis i projectes de medi ambient i de paisatge, mientras continua sus estudios con el Master de Investigación en Urbanismo (UPC 2008). En 2010 funda el despacho azimutlandscape con Margherita Neri y Evgenia Hatzistavrou. Entre sus obras destacadas: 1er premio en el concurso internacional de ideas para el parque “Can Escandell” en Ibiza, con Margherita Neri y Anna Zahonero y la colaboración en el concurso, el proyecto y la ejecución del “Corredor Verde de Cerdanyola”. In 2002 she moves to Barcelona in order to course the Master in Landscape Architecture (MAP, UPC, 2004). Since then she combines the academic with the professional activity. She collaborates with Biaarq arquitectes, the Centre de Recerca i Projectes de Paisatge (CRPPb, UPC) and with (az) estudis i projectes de medi ambient i de paisatge, while she continues her studies with the Master of Investigation in Urbanism (UPC 2008).

At 2010 she founds azimutlandscape studio with Margherita Neri. Among her selective creative work: the first prize at the international competition for the design of the ¨Can Escandell¨ Park in Ibiza, with Margherita Neri and Anna Zahonero and the collaboration in the competition, and the construction of the ¨Greenaway of Cerdanyola¨. Since 2006 she is an assistant professor in the course: ¨New Uses for old territories¨, (MAP) and in the ¨Landscape analysis¨ course of the MUP.

Compagina la docència amb la pràctica professional privada i pública. Ha estat Cap de Coordinació de la planificació urbana a l’Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona i dirigit el pla de recuperació d’espais fluvials. És professor de Teoria del Paisatge i Disseny del Paisatge a la UPC a la mateixa ciutat. Ha estat convidat per diverses universitats de Planificació Urbana i Paisatge com Penn University o el IUAV de Venècia i publica sobre els mateixos temes.

Landscape Architect who studied architecture in Barcelona. He combines teaching, private and public practice.

ANNA ZAHONERO

L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), 1957. És biòloga per la Universitat de Barcelona i màster en arquitectura del paisatge per la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Des de 1992 està vinculada a aquesta universitat com a membre fundadora i investigadora principal del Centre de Recerca i Projectes de Paisatge, ha desenvolupat tasques de cap d’estudis del màster d’arquitectura del paisatge (1993-2003), del graduat superior en paisatgisme (1998-2004) i del màster universitari en paisatgisme (2006-2009) i des de l’any 2001 és professora associada del Departament d’Urbanisme i Ordenació del Territori, desenvolupant la seva tasca docent principalment en l’àmbit del paisatge. Des de 1993 desenvolupa la seva activitat professional i l’any 2006 funda l’empresa (az) estudis i projectes de medi ambient i de paisatge s.l.p. que es dedica principalment a la reacció de projectes sobre inserció paisatgística, informes ambientals i paisatgístics per el planejament urbanístic i territorial, estudis d’impacte ambiental i col·labora amb diferents arquitectes i paisatgistes en la redacció de projectes de paisatge on destaca el primer premi en el concurs del Corredor Verd de Cerdanyola del Vallès (2009).

Colabora también con diferentes arquitectos y paisajistas en la redacción de proyectos de paisaje, entre los que destaca el primer premio en el concurso del Corredor Verd de Cerdanyola del Vallès (2009).

Having begun her professional activity in 1993, she founded the company (az) Estudis i Projectes de Medi Ambient i de Paisatge S.L.P in 2006, which primarily works on developing projects on landscape insertion, environmental and landscape reports for urban and spatial planning, as well as environmental impact studies. She also collaborates with different architects and landscape architects in developing landscape projects, one of which won first prize in the competition for the Green Corridor of Cerdanyola del Vallès (2009).

LAURA ZAMPIERI

Arquitecta, graduada a la Universitat IUAV de Venècia, on actualment du a terme projectes d’investigació.

Professora de Arquitectura de Paisatge: de 2004 a 2011 a la Università degli Studi di Trento, de 2004 a 2013 a la Università degli Studi di Udine, i actualment al Departament de Cultura del Projecte de la Universitat IUAV de Venècia, al Master d’Arquitectura del Paisatge (UPC, Barcelona) i al Master de Arquitectura del Paisatge i del Jardín (Universitat IUAV, Venècia).

Al 2006 fundà CZStudio Associati amb Paolo Ceccon. Junts creen projectes i duen a terme investigacions sobre arquitectura i paisatge. També participen en concursos d’arquitectura i han rebut diversos premis, incloent l’Honour Architectural Award, AIA_NY Chapter en 2013 pel projecte Jesolo Lido Condominium Building (amb Richard Meier & Partners) i el Premi Provincial de la Bienal Internacional promoguda per la Barbara Cappochin Constitution. També va estar finalista al 2012 de la “Medaglia d’Oro per l’Architettura Italiana” i en 2008 a la V edició del Premi Europeu de Paisatge “Rosa Barba”.

Zampieri recentment va publicar per l’editorial Quodibet Editions “Paesaggi in Produzione” amb Paolo Ceccon y “Per un progetto nel paesaggio”.

Arquitecta, graduada en la IUAV de Venecia, donde actualmente realiza actividades de investigación. Profesora de Arquitectura del Paisaje: del 2004 al 2011 en la Università degli Studi di Trento, del 2004 al 2013 en la Università degli Studi di Udine, y en la actualidad es profesora en el Departamento de Cultura del Proyecto de la Universidad IUAV de Venecia, en el Máster en Arquitectura de Paisaje (UPC, Barcelona) y en el Máster de Arquitectura del Paisaje y del Jardín (Universidad IUAV, Venecia).

En 2006 fundó CZstudio Associati con Paolo Ceccon. Juntos realizan proyectos e investigación de arquitectura y paisaje.

También participan en concursos de arquitectura y han recibido varios premios, incluyendo el Honour Architectural Award, AIA_NY Chapter en 2013 por el proyecto Jesolo Lido Condominium Building (con Richard Meier & Partners) y el Premio Provincial de la Bienal Internacional promovida por la Barbara Cappochin Constitution. También fueron finalistas en 2012 de la “Medaglia d’Oro per l’Architecttura Italiana” y en 2006 en la V Edición del Premio Europeo de Paisaje “Rosa Barba”.

Zampieri recientemente publicó para la editorial Quodlibet Editions ‘Paesaggi in produzione’ con Paolo Ceccon y ‘Per un progetto nel paesaggio’

Architect, graduated at University IUAV of Venice where she conducts research.

Professor of Landscape Architecture: from 2004 to 2011 at the University of Trento, from 2004 to 2013 at the University of Udine, currently she teaches at the Department of Culture of the Project of the University IUAV of Venice, at the Master in Landscape architecture (UPC, Barcelona, Spain) and at the Master in Landscape architecture and garden design (University IUAV, Venice).

In 2006 she founded CZstudio Associati with Paolo Ceccon. They both create projects and carry out research on architecture and landscape They also participate in architectural competitions and have received many awards including Honour Architectural Award, AIA_NY Chapter in 2013 for the project of the Jesolo Lido Condominium Building (with Richard Meier and Partners) and the Provincial Prize of the International Biennial of Architecture promoted by the Barbara Cappochin Constitution. They were also finalist in 2012 for the “Golden Medal for Italian Architecture” and in 2008 for the V European Award on Landscape “Rosa Barba”.

Zampieri recently wrote for Quodlibet editions: “Paesaggi in produzione” (with P. Ceccon) and “Per un progetto nel paesaggio”.
