Y BUILDER Young Builders Unite In Linking Developing & Enhancing Relationships
Are you a YBUILDER? YBUILDERs are a group of young dynamic, enthusiastic and eager individuals who are connected to the commercial construction industry and are looking for networking opportunities to attach a “face to that email.” We recognize that our industry does a mediocre job of offering networking opportunities for young professionals and it is our belief that contractors, designers, and others within the Iowa commercial construction industry can use YBUILDER to change that. Annual Dues:
This group is primarily comprised of 22-35 year old professionals, though we certainly will not exclude anyone!
MBI Members: $55 per person
Why become a YBUILDER? We want you to connect on a personal level with your industry colleagues. We’ve put together a comprehensive list of events for 2024 - social, networking, educational, and community-focused. Additional information will be released when we get closer to each event. Non-MBI Members: $70 per person (Includes, but is not limited to, the design community, the development community, financial services & legal communities, unions, construction management programs, and any interested party that has a connection to the commercial construction industry) *Dues are annual and run on the calendar year. If you join before the completion of the Fall events in September, you will pay the full membership fee. If you join after the Fall events, you will be paid in full for the next calendar year starting January 1.

YBUILDER Planning Committee - 2024 The Planning Committee has responsibilities of membership and event logistics. The purpose of this committee is as follows: Membership: will serve as ambassadors for the YBUILDER Network; engage new members; and identify membership growth opportunities. Programming: help to identify social, community, and professional development event opportunities; lead on-site at events; foster member attendance and engagement.
