For Project Managers

3-Part Series ONLINE TRAINING

Throughout the life of a construction project, there are countless tasks that need to be documented, edited, and shared with the entire project team including the prime contractor, subs, and design partners. This three-part series will provide information, insights, and strategies for all to utilize Procore to its fullest capability in the areas of project set-up, documentation, and financial management. This series is ideal for anyone involved in the project management responsibilities.

Templates - Starting Your Project on the Right Foot

June 12, 2024 | 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Procore is a powerful Project Management tool, but all too often we get it dropped on us and told to “figure it out” or we get a 15-minute overview and told to “read the help files” and use it on our next project. Procore can be a really simple, and effective, system to use but it does require a bit of training to get you moving in the right direction. In particular, Procore comes with default templates but you can add your custom template for various tools. This allows for clear & concise standard operating procedures and can save time & money.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Create Custom Trades in the Directory

• Add Individuals & Companies to Procore

• Create Custom Meeting Templates

• Create Inspection Templates

• Create Observation Templates

• Create Punch List Templates

MEET THE TRAINER

David has been working within the construction industry for nearly a decade. He has developed commercial and healthcare projects ranging from $100,000 to $100,000,000+, while working in various positions, including Estimator, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, and Assistant Project Manager. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was an Owner’s Representative on a large healthcare campus in Michigan. This project had several Construction Managers on it using different software products, which Mr. Mills successfully taught team members to use efficiently. David joined ZenTek Consultants as a Technology Specialist in early 2023. During his time at ZenTek, he has developed custom solutions and training for clients, as well as written numerous articles and blogs on using Bluebeam and Procore efficiently. His knowledge of software does not end at Bluebeam and Procore, as he is proficient in Microsoft Office, Revit, PlanSwift, PlanGrid, Smartsheet, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Financial Workflows Made Easy

June 19, 2024 | 9:00 am - 11:00 am

For many Project Managers, the daily operation processes in Procore are simple. However, emailing approvals and requesting information can be an extremely repetitive & time-consuming task. Using Procore Workflows, you can automate financial approvals and rejections, send reminders, and move to the next step for approval automatically. Defining workflows for the proper financial workflows can save you a ton of time, headaches, and cash!
