MEWP Mobile Elevating Work Platforms

Welcome to this CSSI Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) Certified Operator Training and congratulations on selecting one of the most detailed and accurate equipment operator trainings available. This course is designed as part of a comprehensive training program that includes classroom (theory) and practical (hands-on) training and evaluation.

This CSSI course will utilize the IVES training curriculum and will provide a hands-on learning atmosphere to enhance the knowledge retention and attendee experience that goes BEYOND COMPLIANCE for those seeking high-level competency.

DAY ONE: All attendees will participate in the classroom instruction where a hands-on workbook will be completed in addition to a physical equipment pre-operation inspection, interactive workshop with CSSI’s – IVES certified equipment instructor, and finally, a written competency exam.

DAY TWO: Each attendee will have hands-on operational experience with each piece of equipment in a small group setting. These micro sessions will allow attendees one-on-one instruction and small group coaching in 2 hour blocks where attendees will perform their driving competency verification for each piece of equipment.

This operator certification program meets the requirements for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A92.22 SAFE USE and A92.24 TRAINING standard (June 1, 2020). These safe use and training standards are intended to reduce accidents when MEWPs are used. These standards apply to every operator and company that uses mobile elevated work platforms.
