Microsoft Project Professional is the industry-standard project management software used to plan, schedule, and track construction projects of all sizes. For professionals in the commercial construction industry, it offers powerful tools to manage timelines, allocate labor and material resources, and keep projects on track and within budget. This beginner-level course provides hands-on instruction in the essential features of Microsoft Project, from developing and adjusting project schedules to assigning resources, tracking progress, and sharing updates with team members and stakeholders. You’ll also learn how to apply construction-specific workflows using Critical Path Methodology, set milestones, and manage deadlines and workloads across all project phases.
This course is part of the MBI LIVE training series and is presented virtually via Zoom by David Mills of ZenTek Consultants. Each session of “Microsoft Project Professional – The Basics” provides 2 Project Management credits toward the prestigious Master Builder Designation, making it a valuable opportunity for those looking to advancing their professional development.
