PARADE ROUTE

Nodaway County Fair

The 2016 Nodaway County Fair Parade begins on W. Fourth Street and then turns south onto North Buchanan, ending at Second Street.

Parade

DO NOT THROW treats of any kind from floats or any other entries!

You may hand out candy or treats by walking next to the crowd and handing the candy directly to people.

All pets are to be kept on leashes.

PRE-REGISTRATION We are looking forward to your participation in the 2016 Nodaway County Fair Parade! Preregistration is greatly appreciated. To ensure a faster and more orderly registration process on parade day, the parade committee requests that you complete this registration form and send it to: Maryville Chamber of Commerce 408 North Market • Maryville, MO 64468

Before Wednesday, July 13

To be judged, an entry must be registered, have a parade line-up number and be in line by 8:00 a.m. (horses 8:30 a.m.) Non-judged entries should be in line by 8:30 a.m. The parade will start promptly at 9:30 a.m.

If you are unable to pre-register, please complete this form and present it at the registration desk on the morning of the parade. Additional forms are available at the Chamber office.

Please note- Floats, vehicles, implements, etc. may not be any wider than 25 feet and no taller than 14 feet to be included in the parade.

Description of Parade Entry (Will be Read by Announcer)

PARADE DAY From 7-8:30, pick up your parade line-up number at the Registration and Parade Staging area in the large parking lot west of the Houston Performing Arts Center on West College Drive. To access this drive, go north on Country Club Road to College Ave. Entries with horses will be positioned at the rear of the parade. Horse entries will also be responsible for their own animal waste removal.

WAIVER: I hereby for myself, my heirs and administrators assume any and all risks which might be associated with the Nodaway County Fair Parade. I waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages which I may have against the organizers and any others connected with this event, their representatives, successors and assigns for any and all injuries or damages of any kind whatsoever suffered by me as a result of taking part in the Nodaway County Fair Parade and any related activities.
