Thank You

Marymount gratefully acknowledges the many individuals, families, corporations, and foundations whose generosity advanced the School’s mission during the 2023 – 2024 academic year. Together, Marymount supporters made 1,189 philanthropic gifts totaling more than $3,400,000 from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. Each gift reflects a shared commitment to the School’s future and honors its legacy, ensuring a solid foundation for Marymount’s next century.

Marymount recognizes those who contributed to the success of the School’s educational excellence, the growth of the Endowment for long-term financial stability, and the relocation and modernization of its science and art labs to enhance programmatic growth. The 2023 – 2024 list of donors includes gifts to the Annual Fund, special projects, special events, and capital contributions.

“Marymount is the product of the thousands of people, Religious and laity, who joined together to form a special kind of community, the purpose of which was –and is – to be life-giving to students and to one another.

“This mission has endured through the various movements and moments that shaped our collective history of Los Angeles.”

Centennial Objectives

From Marymount’s founding by five pioneering Sisters of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM) to the present day, the School has remained centered on its mission and has evolved to keep pace with the needs of students in our rapidly changing world. In anticipation of Marymount’s Centenary Year and its celebrations, two key objectives were established to position Marymount to continue its educational excellence.

• Increase the School’s total endowment to $23,000,000 by 2023.

• Relocate, remodel, and revitalize newly defined spaces for the Life Science Labs and Visual Arts Studios.

Through the generosity of the following foundations, benefactors, and supporters, Marymount was able to achieve these significant goals, culminating in the 2023 – 2024 Centenary Year:
