Nearly 30 years ago, we took a leap of faith and offered a few Simmental yearling bulls for sale. It took time and commitment and a lot of faith. There were years we thought about quitting. But we kept at it – building a seedstock operation among the fields in northeast Kansas.

We kept at it not with the goal of making a fortune, but with the dream of raising the type of bulls that work in our own operation and in our customers’ operations. We kept at it by never settling for last year’s best. We’ve improved quality and grown numbers, and we are excited that this year’s bull offering includes stock that Thad and Nathan raised at Geiger Farms but also bulls from Clear Creek Farm, an operation owned and managed by Thad’s oldest daughter Sarah and her family.

We’re making a few changes to how we sell the bulls this year too. For years we’ve considered hosting a sale, but after talking with many of our valued customers, it became clear that they like the personalized approach we’ve always used. So, we’re blending the old with some new and kicking off bullsale season with an open house.

We invite you to come walk through the bulls. Ask questions. Find the bull that’s right for your operation. We’re here to make the process easy and tailored to your needs. No pressure. Just the personalized service you’ve come to expect.

While we’re excited for this new approach, we’re more excited for you to see the bulls. Not only is this our largest offering to do date, it is also our deepest. Year after year, we emphasize consistency in cow families. And we mate those cow families to industry leading genetics, sires including War Paint, Highlife, Progressive and Promoter. Leaving you with choices in the bull pen that will yield growth, endurance, efficiency, and ultimately, profitability.

Every year, we strive to make the cattle better. That mindset doesn’t stop at the farm. The second and third generations of our family – and their contributions to this bull sale – make our farm and our family better. Sure, things may be just a little different this year, but our commitment to prioritizing relationships with our customers has never been stronger. We look forward to seeing you this March.
