Derek Gedney Derek Gedney was born in Mt Kisco, New York in 1971.

His father was an architect at a design studio for the first 10 years of his life which put Derek in a very free and creative environment. At age 11, Derek became very involved in music and decided to become a DeeJay, which lasted throughout the 80’s into the early 90’s. In 1996, Derek formed his own music production company under the artist name Wreckless Beats. Derek’s music led him to learn web/graphic design and video editing. In 2008, he decided to change direction and apply more focus on his artwork.

Derek spent the next few years learning about quantum physics, ancient symbolism, numerology and the fundamental geometry that underlies everything within the cosmos.

Derek works with a combination of multiple mediums which include pen, pencil, paint, photography and digital art. He feels technology should be utilized in all creative and educational facets of life which is why he chooses to take advantage of this technological opportunity to express himself artistically. His recent focus has been in 3D Digital Geometry, Kaleidoscopes & Mandalas.

Find your way to divinity through the labyrinth of amnesia. We are beings caught in the great forgetting. No longer can we recall our true nature or the many incarnations we have passed through before our current becoming.

As newborns, we carry with us accumulated conditions from other lives, ancestral agreements, and take on new burdens with our new identities. We are packed heavy as we attend earth school over and over again, refining ourselves.

While here, we fall under the spell of limitation and undergo transformation.

Slowly we awaken to remembering who we truly are.

The path of remembering is ongoing.

In contrast to our muddled confused distortions, we cannot help but glimpse perfect union and yearn to be free once more. Our path is rigorous. Our unburdening is rough, like riding a wild bucking bronco. We must confidently hold the reigns, be guided by our hearts and every time we fall, remount until the animal is tamed.

Consciousness runs everything. Keep a clear commitment to awaken to the truth of yourself. Step out from the box of constriction, observe what binds, and set it free. Surrender. Continually revisit this same process until something in you shifts.

Whatever difficulty shows up, see it as a gift for your development. Keep starting again. Challenges occur to teach.

We are evolutionary; therefore we learn through experience. While on the wind-

ing path of remembering, develop an attitude of gratitude. Gratefulness is a dynamic, alchemical change agent... gratefulness changes our vibratory field and attracts a flow of grace.

We are living in a grand creation and are able to select new attitudes and create our lives to be different. Our power lies in understanding that we can change our minds. We are attractor fields so we must vibrate at a particular frequency in order to pull to us what we want.

If we keep thinking, I’m so sick, I’m so fat, I’m so poor, I don’t deserve anything good... we magnetize more of the same. Restructuring thoughts about ourselves is the secret to being successful in this game of life.

Many years ago I discovered Louise Hays’ book, “You Can Heal Your Life.”

She strategically spells out many practices that will completely change your mind. She is a pioneer for curing illness with affirmative thoughts. She has attracted and created an industry based on her material.

Her technique that helped me most is mirror work. I would hold a mirror to my face, look into my eyes, call myself by name ... then I would tell myself, “I love you. You are wonderful, I love you so much.” At first it was hard to look, my eyes tried to look away. But then they widened and began to receive. Soon they were absorbing, responding in relaxed delight. Sometimes I would weep a little, being so touched by my own incoming love. It was an intimate infusion.

I would affirm wonderful things to myself that I soaked up, totally believing every bit of it. I needed this transfusion of support in order to shift my internal awareness and accept myself.

So remember, self-doubt is overcome by changing your thinking. Override bothersome self-assumptions with clear repetitions of positive affirmations. Be grateful for whatever shows up in your life. Remember, this is a winding journey of discovery.

We are empowered beings, attracting in and reflecting outward. We must follow our inner voices knowing we are in alignment with the infinite realm of love.

We are welcome here in our magnificent earth home. We are safe. We are divine beings deeply rooted in this fertile earthly extravaganza.

We are beloved children of the Universe.

Miracles and messages abound to guide us. Let’s surrender and forgive everything, let holiness drench us in its healing elixir.

Become a free agent... remember the truth of your being. God dwells within and expresses through you, as you. All is well.

My Guides channeled a lot of interesting information about Walk-in’s for my new book, Spiritual Toolbox, and they’ve been quite clear that more and more souls are walking-in now than ever before. The fact that more and more souls are able to walk into adult bodies is a direct reflection of the hard work that Lightworkers have been doing for generations. Lightworkers have raised the vibrations of human beings and this planet to the point where it’s possible for more souls to skip childhood, and get right to work on their missions. Walk-ins are Lightworkers, too, and no matter which one you might be, our mission is not an easy one. And while we are rarely see the results of our hard work, changes are happening, and my Guides have shared that Spirit is continually giving the Lightworker Brigade standing ovations for what we’ve been able to accomplish, which is to help humankind evolve. And since we may not be aware of those standing O’s from Spirit, let’s give ourselves a well-deserved slap on the back and an “Atta-girl/boy” for a job brilliantly done, and talk a little bit about Walk-ins.

His friends and family said they felt like he was a total stranger. As I watched that story, I remember thinking to myself, “I bet he’s a Walk-in,” and I wrote a letter to Ruth Montgomery to see what she thought. She answered me saying, “Yes, it seems very possible,” and that was the last of thought about walk-ins until January 2012.

Then, in less than 24 hours, three things happened: (1) I read about them again in Shirley Battie’s wonderful book, Spirit Speaks; (2) I was working with my Guide Group on my new book when they starting channeling information about walk-ins; and (3) I received an email from someone who is a walkin. The synchronicity of those three events led me to write several columns about walk-ins, and since my Guides have been nudging me to write a full article on this subject, here we go!

What is a walk-in?

How does a soul walk-in?

A Walk-in situation can occur when (1) two souls, prior to incarnation, make an agreement that when the first soul has completed its development or spiritual “to do” list, the second soul will takes its place; or (2) something may have happened to make the outgoing entity want to leave the body early, i.e. chronic illness or a tragic accident, and another soul will take over for the departing soul.

The Walk-in soul is always one that is highly/sufficiently evolved enough to skip the birth process and enter at the adult stage of life. Here’s a list of the basic steps that take place during a Walk-in situation:

• An agreement exists or takes place between two souls • The two souls switch places • The outgoing soul continues their journey and learning on the other side of the veil, just as we all do when our current incarnation is over, and can reincarnate again when ready to do so • The Walk-in must complete the Karma of the outgoing soul; that is part of the agreement • The Walk-in has a specific mission which can include teaching, assisting humankind in our awakening, and/or to help individuals find their life pur pose/path

1. You feel totally different; you never feel quite “yourself.”

2. You feel uncomfortable or like an out sider when you’re with your friends and family.

3. Your interests and hobbies have changed drastically.

4. You might have memory lapses re garding why you walked-in to this new body, and you may have memory lapses when it comes to the memory of the outgoing soul.

5. You find yourself wanting to help other people through volunteer work, raising funds, and just plan lending a hand.

6. You are very concerned about the state of the planet and want to help.

How can I tell if I’m a walk-in?

As Shirley Battie writes in Spirit Speaks, “How often have you heard of someone who survives a terminal illness…and then has a new lease on life and goes on to raise funds or provide inspiration in one

“I had just closed my circle for Christmas when I was told by spirit to hold a discussion on Walk-ins that same week. I phoned my [study] group and they agreed to come even though we had no idea what it was about. That same week I had occasion to go to a crystal warehouse where the secretary walked up to me and said: ‘You are a Walk-in’ and take this book by Ruth Montgomery: Strangers Among Us.’ That very same week I had an unplanned reading during which the medium said: ‘I don’t know who she is but you will be introduced to someone called Ruth Montgomery.’ Well, three things in a row I could not ignore, so I wrote to Ruth Montgomery through her publisher saying I could not ignore such synchronicity and could we meet. Amazingly she wrote to me, and this was before internet. She suggested I contact someone in Minneapolis who was running things there.

I liked the voice immediately. She told me that by chance they were holding their first international conference in the UK that year and would I like to go and make my mind up about Walk-ins.

It was not too far from me so I went.

What followed led to many astounding things happening, too long to go into here. I have since attended and spoken at other Walk-In conferences.”

The bottom line Walk-ins are not body snatchers. A walkin situation allows two souls to continue on their journeys, and ultimately, it allows a highly-evolved soul to enter as an adult and start their work to help others and our planet almost immediately. It’s an agreement that is a win-win situation for both souls, albeit confusing and difficult for the incoming soul and the outgoing soul’s family and friends.

When we hear the word, “imagination,’ we tend to think of something that is surreal; in other words, a fantasy, magical, or something that is not real or really there.

Imagination seems just something we think about, without any real outcome.

Gratitude and Water Memory

What water? Yes, one of the elements of whom we are, as source energy, as HU-mans, as souls. Water all over the Universe has memory and the water where we are born remains in our body throughout our lifetime. We start life at 99% water as a fetus; we are born at 90%, and reach 70% in adulthood. Water is the mirror of the soul and it aligns itself with the consciousness of human beings. Everything in the Universe is vibration, and being that water is so sensitive to the unique frequencies emitted by the outside world, it mirrors everything around it, both spoken and written words. The connection to water applies to all people all over the world; this is what connects us all. To understand water is to understand the galaxy, the phenomenon of nature and life itself.

Water has healing capabilities and has the ability to heal or to destroy through the power of words. The vibration of positive words has a positive effect on the world where negative words produce a negative vibration. Water records information as it falls to Earth, and while circulating throughout the Universe, it distributes information. Actions, thoughts and words become part of the environment. Serious crimes occur where people curse the most often. Being that water has photographic memory; you can imprint it from many kilometers away. Our bodies can do the same since we are always remotely communicating.

Water’s structure, like a nervous system, reacts to any irritations it comes in contact with. Within each of waters memory cells, there are 440,000 information panels, each of which is responsible for its own type of interaction with the environment. To give your positive or negative attention to something is a way of giving energy; the most damaging behavior is to withhold attention.

So let’s take an example and a suggested experiment, let’s say you have three glasses of water, and you speak to them daily. One you love and give gratitude to, one that you speak negatively to and another that you ignore completely. The one that is ignored will have the most damage and this takes us further to our children. Being that children are 70-90% water, if we love them unconditionally with words of kindness, they will flourish, if we speak negatively to them, we will cause harm and if we ignore them, we will create the most damage. This also applies to plants, insects, pets, and all of the marvels of nature.

People have difficulty accepting new things around them that are different from their viewpoint. Emanating negative energy and constricted beliefs with a core of Fear can have the ability to give your water a negative charge. We have the power to destroy our water, Earth, ourselves, and each other. Or we can have a positive impact and manifest miracles with our thoughts. Some recorded instances are Jesus parting water and the summer of 1991, Israel.

After two years without rain, 10,000 Israelis went to the Wailing Wall to pray for rain. Their power of thought gave way to rain, proving that thoughts can change a system.

How can we feel better and lead happy and healthy lives?

We must purify the water that makes 70% of the body. If the water in a river stagnates, the water dies. If the blood in human bodies is stagnant, it is a result of repressed and stuck emotions, which leads to dis-EASE. It’s all about moving, changing and flowing, which allows Qi (life force energy) to move through water, which serves as its transporter. We ebb and flow with the cycles of nature, water, and Life. Our bodies respond to thoughts as well, whether positive or negative. If water’s structure can be imprinted and altered, how about one’s own mind? The ability to master ourselves, allows for a healthier being, on a soul, emotional, physical, and mental level. Let us speak kindly to ourselves, and to each other, with loving kindness

and compassion.

So how do we change from negative to positive vibration? First we must be aware that is not possible to rid ourselves of emotions. All we need to do is emit an emotion that is opposite to the negative emotion that we are experiencing. It all starts with mindfulness, being aware of your thoughts, your triggers, your reactions to the outside world, and how that manifests in your reality. Your ability to maintain your inner peace no matter what is happening around you, and the opportunity to forgive yourself, and others in every moment, over and over again. It is the ability to live without judgment. The combination of the two opposite waves allows the negative emotion to disappear. The power of being positive cannot be underestimated. Many aliments are the result of negative emotions. If you can erase the underlying cause of the aliments, then you have an innate capacity to heal.

Our emotions and feelings have an effect on the world moment by moment.

By sending out images and thoughts of gratitude and creativity, you are contributing to a beautiful earth. However emitting messages of hate and chaos, you contribute to the destruction of our earth. Will you choose love & gratitude and live the abundance consciousness or a pained world of discontent and impoverishment, further adding to victim consciousness?

Each one of us has the magical ability to change ourselves, and in turn change the world. We have all been gifted the power of creation, manifestation, and healing through love. We have the capacity to change the world in a moment, the moment it takes to be aware of our thoughts, emotions, and the effect they have on our world. Your actions, thoughts, & emotions create a morphic field in which other humans can tap into, whether positive or negative. When you sit in front of water and pray with love and gratitude, you are filling another person in the world with love & gratitude, since the water in front of you is connected to ALL the water in the world. Your messages of love, gratitude and healing will reach all the persons in the world. We must remember that the world is linked together with love & gratitude. Love & gratitude are the fundamentals of nature, which lead to harmony and peace on earth. If all people of the world can live with this mindset, the beauty of the Earth will once again return.

Visualization Exercise: Take any characteristic you would love to embody or release ex: jealousy, love, trust, etc. My favorite is “I am”. Put word(s) on paper, place under glass of water, and set an intention for the water. You could simply thank the water and offer love & gratitude, or recite any prayer, and then go to sleep. Upon rising, slowly sip the water with your eyes closed.

Follow & visualize the water going down, you are embodying your intention that you wrote the previous night.

Drink that intention and become it. You could also choose an attribute you want to refine or bring forward such as confidence, public speaking, etc. You might see bubbles or symbols forming, don’t be alarmed, this is your water imprinting the love you are offering. The water is communicating and loving you back.

This exercise should be done in 3’s, 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months or longer for deeper work.

If there are rocks or boulders it gently moves around or over them and continues on.

Now imagine for a moment you are like the water. You are a beautiful golden flowing energy.

When you are in the flow, flowing in grace, aware of the grace, all is flowing smoothly.

If you come upon what appears as an obstacle, a rock or boulder, you gently move around it or float over it. You don’t resist because you are aware of the graceful flow, so you choose to just flow to the destination that you are choosing.

As you shift your perspective to seeing yourself as golden flowing energy, you will feel the power of being able to move about your life reality with greater ease.

This empowers you to let go of resistance energy, as well as any need to control. You can begin to release perceptions that perhaps have held you feeling stuck, and allow yourself to move with awareness into the flow.

In the greater picture, life is a dance, a joyful expression of your divine nature.

You are that loving golden energy that has no limitations. Imagine living your life, dancing in the flow and expressing yourself in wisdom, beauty and great joy.

As you ponder upon these ideas, you will feel a deepening connection to this truth that your heart has always known. Shifting your perception to these thoughts of being fluid golden energy, living in a world of flowing golden energy, then allows your mind to open to infinite possibilities that are available to you in this very moment.

This may stir within you a desire to know more of how to navigate your life in a direction that you would really like to experience. The wonderful news is that just by opening up to these new thoughts, allows for the process of acceptance of your greater truth.

This is your time to dance in awareness, to be in celebration of the pathways for your ascension into new thoughts, into higher consciousness, now more readily available than ever before. When he first walked into our house I wasn’t expecting what I saw! His gentle but scarred round honey eyes and his beautiful round nose shaping a triangle which was the center of the attraction grabbed my eyes! Oh, he was beautiful and lovely!

It is to know that he was lost and rescued in Iran and adopted by my lovely daughter who loves and has a very deep feelings for pets with the help of “VAFA ANIMAL SHELTER” The first two weeks, after travelling 16 hours in the airplane, he seemed very exhausted and confused. He couldn’t trust us as a new owner but yet hadn’t any other choice to accept us as his new home!

He felt Love, Attention, Care and trustworthy from the first moment, so he gradually became more friendly and less confused.

I had a dog in the past which I never allowed her inside the house, but this one is something else, very nutty, so sweet and so lovely and he was warmly welcomed inside the house and even being in our beds sometime!

All members of the family are in love with him! He has changed our entire family’s emotion and life; I wouldn’t go out to spend time for myself at all; but with General I go out for a walk twice a day and when I see how happy he gets when he is out, it makes me happy too. I think we can’t leave without him!

Not only he is the center of the attention in the house but every single person who walks by him gives a lovely look and compliment! He is our one and only doggy, named, GENERAL! We would like to thank “Vafa Animal Shelter” for giving us such a beautiful gift and helping all other homeless dogs to find a warm home!

General’s Grand ma.

First I was thinking that I’ll never let him even in my bedroom, but after having him on the third week, he was jumping on my bed and kissing my face and liking my feet to wake me up! Now, I can’t go to bed without kissing him goodnight!

He has changed a lot. He has more confidence, more trust, better discipline and in a better shape; physically and emotionally than the first day! He has a new healthy diet, warm and nice beds to sleep in; and a loving and caring family to stay in peace! He is so happy because he knows he wouldn’t be left alone even for one single moment, he would be mistreated or ignored. He is with us where ever we go! He is part of the family!
