Hi! I’m Sally and this is my pet cat named Pat. He’s a white, fluffy cat.

I love my pet cat named Pat. He’s PERFECT!!

Purrrrr

I’m at the park with my friend Nathan.

He has a dog named Daisey.

She is brown and has tiny spots.

She does a lot of tricks.

“I love my pet dog Daisey,” Nathan said.

“She’s PERFECT!!”

WOOF!

Seeing Nathan’s dog made me a little sad.

Nathan’s dog does seem perfect.

She is brown and has spots.

huhh!

My cat is just white.

My cat just sits in the house.

He is not so perfect.

Hmmmmm!

I think I’m going to find a new perfect pet.

I am at the park looking for my new perfect pet.

Hoorrayyy!!

I see children playing.

But no animals.

Do you see an animal that could be my new perfect pet?

That’s right!

There’s a bird that is yellow with red wings.

But that’s too hard to catch.

This can’t be my new perfect pet!

Chirp, chirp

I am at school.

I am here with all my friends.

But no animals.

Do you see an animal that could be my new perfect pet?

That’s right!

There are fishes in the fish bowl.

There is a red, yellow and blue fish.

But I can’t take them for a walk.

This can’t be my new perfect pet!

I am at the zoo.

I see a mommy and her daughter here too.

But I can't see any animals.

Do you see any animals that could be my new perfect pet?

That’s right!

There’s a panda behind the bushes.

It’s black and white and likes green bamboo.

But it’s not an indoor pet and can’t live in my room.

This can’t be my new perfect pet!

Well…. I tried my best to find a new perfect pet, but no animal was perfect enough.

Huhhhhh…

Maybe that’s because no pet is better than my pet cat, Pat.

Pat is white and fluffy!

He likes to hug and play with me.

He won’t fly away.

I can take him for walks.

He can also fit in my room.

Pat is my perfect pet.

I love my pet cat named Pat. He’s PPPERFECT!!
