Stop by the Mercy Ships Giving Tree on Dec. 5, 12 or 19 and choose a gift that truly will give life! VISITS FROM SANTA There are still a few spots available to schedule a visit from Santa to your home, business, party or school. Proceeds benefit Give Kids a Smile Day and the children’s clinics of St. Paul Children’s Foundation. Schedule your time by calling Mary Gammell (903.561.7119). Home visits begin at $50 for 30 minutes and rates for parties are negotiable. BE AN ELF AT SANTA’S WORKSHOP Marvin will host a Christmas store for the clients of the St. Paul Children’s Foundation in December. Families will be able to select new items to use as Christmas presents for immediate family members. Individuals and families will have opportunities to work in the store (located on the St. Paul’s grounds) during the two weeks the store will be open (Dec. 6-10 and Dec. 13-17). The volunteer shifts are 12:30-3 p.m. and 2:30-5 p.m. To sign-up for a shift, contact Brenda Byerly (bbyerly@marvinumc.com). SINGLE ADULTS The Christmas party will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, in the Hub (across from Herd Auditorium). Join in the fun and bring a white elephant gift to exchange and an ornament to decorate the new Christmas tree. If you are able, bring a donation for St. Paul Children’s Foundation. As
