The Martin Harris Centre is fully accessible. There are 2 entrances, one on Bridgeford Street and the other on Coupland Street which has a ramp. Both entrances to the building have auto-opening doors. There is a level floor entrance to the performance space. There are wheelchair spaces in the performance space. The performance space is fitted with induction loops. RISK ASSESSMENT We have conducted a risk assessment which will be supplied as part of the Teacher’s Resource Pack but we would recommend that group leaders visit The Martin Harris Centre prior to their visit and conduct a site risk assessment. TIMING We recommend you leave adequate time for travel. Please aim to arrive at least ten minutes before the performance is due to start.

GETTING HERE By Bus: Direct routes to Oxford Road run regularly from Piccadilly Gardens in Central Manchester. The Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama at The University of Manchester is served by many bus routes. For local bus information check www. gmpte.gov.uk or call 0161 228 7811. By Train: Oxford Road station is a ten minute walk away. Train enquiries 08457 484950. By Coach: On arrival coaches can drop off on Oxford Road (outside Cafe Muse) or Higher Cambridge Street but drivers will then need to find an area to park their coach. AT THE MARTIN HARRIS CENTRE
