New Year, New Newsletter
Dear Residents, Families, & Friends:
Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed your holiday season surrounded by friends, family, and the reminders of a baby laid in a manager that is the greatest gift of all
Looking back on 2024, I think about all the ways Martin Boyd flourished and enhanced our service offerings for residents Here are just a few examples:
We amplified our dining experience with the addition of a salad bar. We love hearing your excitement for this new option
Our life enrichment program in collaboration with our dining services team added a brand new ice cream parlor, and we have enjoyed afternoon ice cream cones, milkshakes, and banana splits with our residents and visitors We all scream for ice cream!
We began a new, structured daily program in our memory care to bring more stimulation and cognitively appropriate activities to these residents.
Lastly, I’m pleased to announce our 2024 Employee of the Year, Tina Benning. Tina has worked for Martin Boyd for over 10 years and currently serves
on our dining services team. Tina loves our residents and regularly exceeds expectations in whatever role she takes on If you run into Tina in the dining room, please join me in congratulating her
Looking forward to 2025, we have many exciting things on the horizon From “snow days,” to car shows, to tea parties, and more our residents will have a lot to look forward to and enjoy during their days here at Martin Boyd. I thank you for trusting us with your loved one’s care in 2025 and, as always, my door is open if you need me for anything.
