proposal for Pabellรณn MEXTROPOLI n.21, by Arquine made with Casatibuonsante architects.

The project is a Political Display designed to promote a public discussion during MEXTRร POLI 2019 Festival on the Mexican Identity and its strenuous integration between Pre-Columbian, Colonial and Spanish American cultures.

An unfinished concrete car park as an infrastructure for Porto Empedocle’s two cities’ connection and also a contemporary ruin, part of the city’s landscape.

Porto Empedocle is a sicilian small city born from Agrigento’s commercial and industrial pier. Its territory and morphology is an exception compared to the other costal towns. As a matter of facts this place knew a .

Nowadays after the economic crisis Porto Empedocle is characterized by the large presence of oversized and unfinished infrastructures, and the carpark is the emblem of their contribution to the local landscape.
