PRIVADA
Residential
Location: México City, México 2024
In colaboration with Cuaik CDS
The residential project Privada presents an elegant and sophisticated balance by employing a palette of neutral-toned materials as the foundation for the furnishings. A rich variety of textures and materials creates a warm and visually engaging atmosphere, where each element complements the others harmoniously.
The furniture pieces stand out as focal points, commanding attention through their meticulous design and flawless craftsmanship. These pieces not only provide essential functionality but also act as protagonists within each space, defining the character and the personality of the environment.
Art emerges as the true protagonist and guiding force behind the design narrative. Every space is thoughtfully curated to celebrate artistic expression, using artwork not merely as decoration, but as an integral element that informs the overall aesthetic and spatial dialogue. Sculptures, paintings, and artisanal details establish a coherent visual language that ties the project together, imbuing each room with a distinct yet unified identity.

ALCALÁ
Residential
Location: Madrid, Spain 2024
In collaboration with Cuaik CDS
This 128 m² apartment, located on Alcalá Street in Madrid, was designed with a focus on maximizing every space, transforming each area into a cohesive piece of functional furniture. Elements such as hidden beds, foldable desks, and multifunctional headboards were incorporated to optimize every square meter, allowing the space to adapt to various needs without compromising the quality of the design. These solutions not only enhance the apartment’s versatility but also make it possible to accommodate a larger number of guests comfortably.
The project places a strong emphasis on openness and integration with the vibrant life of Madrid. Large windows, balconies, and transparent partitions were strategically introduced to create a seamless connection between the interior spaces and the dynamic urban landscape outside. Natural light floods the apartment throughout the day, enhancing the perception of space and imbuing the interiors with a sense of warmth and vitality.
By embracing light as a fundamental design tool, the apartment achieves an extraordinary sense of amplitude and fluidity. Spaces that might have felt constrained are instead airy and inviting, offering a contemporary urban living experience that is deeply connected to the rhythm and energy of the city.

JURICA
Residential
Location: Jurica, Querétaro 2025
In collaboration with Cuaik CDS
Jurica is a residential project located in Querétaro. The program includes three bedrooms, indoor and outdoor social areas, a dedicated volume for a games room, and a swimming pool that seamlessly integrates with the house through columns that begin to submerge into the water.
The central design concept is to blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. This is achieved through the strategic use of balconies, skylights, and expansive windows, allowing natural light to flood the interiors and creating continuous visual and physical connections with the surrounding environment. The architecture seeks to dissolve the traditional notion of enclosed spaces, promoting a fluid interaction between the built and natural elements.
By embracing an open and dynamic dialogue between the inside and the outside, Jurica offers a living experience that is both intimate and expansive — a home where architecture and landscape coexist in perfect harmony.

MÁRTIRES DE TACUBAYA 04 Apartment building
Location: Mexico City, México 2022
Understanding that the life of a building does not end in a limited period of time is essential, but seeing a greater value in it can be a challenge. For this project, we found a very clear style in construction, Art Deco, which was a guide to developing the concept for each area.
Three typologies were developed that are in line with the characteristics of each of the apartments. Each one varies in color and space, but in each one of them, adequate lighting and harmony are achieved. As it was an old building, the kitchens were completely enclosed in the center of the apartments, which is why we saw the need to open up the spaces, not only to the outside through windows but also to the inside to promote integral coexistence throughout the housing.
The central garden was a high priority since it is the largest source of light for each dwelling. For this, a dome was generated on the third level of the building, which protects against natural events as well as providing the cross ventilation needed to maintain the appropriate temperature for the project. This is the place where each apartment concept becomes one.

AS PRAIAS
Memorial Pavillion
Location: Lisbon, Portugal 2018
The memorial is located in an underground corridor that guides walkers through three different beaches. The 1755 earthquake had a great impact on the history of Lisbon, and was an example of how a community can recover after a catastrophic disaster.
"As Praias" commemorates the different stages that were experienced before, during and after the earthquake. The forms generated in this proposal represent the tectonic plates and their movement during this earthquake.
The first space consists of a water mirror with basaltic stone on the bottom, which commemorates the importance of ancient tradition in Lisbon.
The central space encloses the visitor with a rusted steel wall that blocks the view towards the beach and intensifies the senses. This allows the visitor to experience what was felt during the earthquake.
The final stage opens up to a corridor that connects to the beach, representing the ability of the inhabitants of Lisbon to overcome the disaster and maintain hope.
