HOTEL WCTC AND STRUCTURAL MODEL

Hotel wctc was a project that introduced me to more advanced concepts within revit. The project pushed me to create wall type, finised floor plans through the uses of parts, and rendering just to name few. Design fredom was given and shown by the exterior wall sweeps, finised floor plans site and other detial components with the building which made this building my own.

The finished floor plan was a mile stone with for the hotel design process. The assignment was given to practice creating and assigning parts and specific material. Colors and texture were determined by the material I chose.

some chanllenges faced with this parts with this portion of the project was actually trying to assign ideal materials. I was given lots of fredom within this part of the project and it allowed me to express my self more creatively.

WALL DETALLS AND DETAIL

ISOMETRIC SECTION CUTS OF EXTERIOR WALL

These drawings are from the hotel’s north conference room. I used detailing components to create a technical drawing of the exterior wall on a stepped foundation. They highlight the interaction between the open-web joist and the wall at a crucial point in the building’s structural framing.

The Bayamon residence, a digital design project spanning two classes, focused on finishes, interior design, and professional presentation skills. It was a rewarding experience as one of my initial opportunities to design an interior space as a student.

DIGITAL DESIGN FINAL - BAYAMON RESIDENCE

The design journey is inspired by Spanish colonial aesthetics, especially in the Caribbean. Rich Sienna browns, regal blues, and pristine whites contrast and harmonize, bringing the design to life with their deep values and lively hues.

PURPOSE

This project blends precise perspective drawing with the allure of Caribbean Spanish colonial design, using Sienna browns, royal blues, and stark whites. It transforms a bedroom into a journey through time and culture, showcasing design’s power to transport, inspire, and nurture dreams.

WOOD CONSTRUCTION SKETCH UP AND REVIT

In this project the goals was to show that I was able to comprehend that anatomy of a wood contructed bulding that is able to be livable upon using the concepts of tributary areas and certain calculation.

FINAL PROJECTINTRO TO REVIT

This project, initially proposed by my professor, tasked me with replicating given plans to the best of my ability using Revit, marking my first experience with the software. Through prior assignments, I honed my skills to ensure I could excel in completing this final project.

TADAO MEMORIAL -

DESIGN ELEMENTS

for this project we were tasked to interprete a famous architectural style by a famously know archtect though designing a pavillion like structure and or kiosk. The achitect that i was given Tado ando, who was famous for his simple yet elegant spaces imbeded withing his structures and his use of concrete.

the pavilion site was located on pine lake chinequa wisconsin. the site was a small island that with site feature included the view of the lake and a hill which was aproximatly 30 feet. the pavilion was placed at the top of the hill for viewers/ tourist the take in the breath taking views.

to build this stucture i used the component that can be seen on the right. simple pieces were used to create this simple structure.

Hear are a few elevations of the pavilion on the site as well as an iso. the elevation show the silts that cover specific faces that to capture light for the south and project of the wall of the pavillions interior.

Tadao ando used japanese architectural philosopy of simplicity and harmony to influence his work and reasoning for why he choses to use the types of material that he did.

the idea behind the building was to mimic a a famas structure of the architect “the Church of Light”. the structre taps the light let into it by the slit that can be seen on the south side of the the pavilio to give a sense of harymony and comfort when you are standing with in the structure.
